At the last moment the owners and organisers of the Carnival were told in no uncertain terms that the PLP party needs a much bigger cut of the Carnival action to pay its election bills. All of this friction came about because the owners and organisers said "No", enough is enough. The PLP party then immediately went into a retaliatory extortionist role. Freddy Boy's finger prints are all over this 'business' fallout. LOL
Just think how many more people were murdered in our country during the same period from Aug 30 to Nov 7. Certainly way more than 6.
With the exception of those who are still profiteering off of Wuhan Virus testing and jabs, the rest of us are all glad to hear there have been zero Wuhan Virus deaths in our nation since Nov 7.

Pintard and the FNM party will remain irrelevant to Bahamian politics until the party's council and administrative apparatus are fully purged of sicko Minnis and his loyal minions he appointed within the party ranks.
Frankly, the FNM party would be much better off losing Killarney in a by-election than having Minnis remain a face and voice in parliament. That's the simple reality of the situation because most Bahamians now cringe at the sight of him and just can't stand to hear him speak about anything, period!
There's capitalism of the level playing field kind with equal opportunity for all willing to take the business risks involved and then there's capitalism of the evil crony kind which strangles fair competition, stifles innovation and rewards only the corrupt few. There's nothing wrong with being a capitalist willing to compete on a level playing field under rules that fairly apply to all.
Economies thrive under healthy unadulterated capitalism whereas they quickly become stagnant and debt burdened under crony capitalism exacerbated by greedy corrupt politicians. The Bahamas knows all of this first hand; it's a text book example of the devastating affects of the wrong kind of capitalism.
