no, forget apologies. they are meaningless and do nothing to remedy the atrocious level of outright corruption in this matter. this entire corrupt lease deal, which was wrongfully instigated by senior officials at royal caribbean with known corrupt bahamian politicians, needs to be regarded as never having occurred.

and then a full and proper investigation by a special commission independent of government needs to identify all of the individuals within our government and at royal caribbean who played a role in negotiating such an absurd arrangement against the interests of the bahamian people.

here's where we find out whether davis places the interests of a corrupt foreign cruise line enterprise (royal caribbean) over the interests of the bahamian people.

rubbish. in case you haven't noticed, as the cruise ships have grown ever so much bigger over the past four decades, our economy has grown ever so much smaller, even when you factor out the true net negative contribution of the cruise ship industry to our nation's gdp.

My friend, you need only compare and contrast the performance of Fidelity Bank with Commonwealth Bank since Ray Winder became president of the latter. And they both have significant consumer loan portfolios.

**the legal term "void ab initio" applies to this entire shockingly atrocious purported lease arrangement between the previous minnis led fnm administration (specifically minnis, d'aguilar, then ag bethel and "dr." michael scott) and senior officials of royal caribbean cruise lines involving crown land on paradise island.**

**and if the davis led plp administration (specifically davis, cooper and now ag pinder) fail to call for the formation of a special commission independent of governmemt with broad investigatory powers to fully investigate the circumstances under which this outrageous lease arrangement was purportedly negotiated and concluded, then they too are equally culpable in the wrongful and illegal acts surrounding this glaringly corrupt lease deal.**

**the corruption here was no doubt instigated by senior officials of royal caribbean and all those involved must be held to account for their role played in this matter.**

These guys typically make out like bandits, but not the small fry investors who listen to them. It's always too easy to put your hard earned money into an investment they tout, but then it becomes next to impossible to get your money back based on the value they tell the public your investment is worth. LOL

> He {Smith} added: “In respect of the stay application, my friend rightly pointed out that one of the issues your ladyship must consider is injustice. Now the only people upon whom injustice will be visited are the poor, potentially homeless people who still have some meagre roof over their heads.

> And If the stay is granted, hundreds of human beings will be banished to the bush when the tractors roll in again to demolish what is left of their homes post Dorian.”

utter drivel and rubbish out of smith's mouth. Smith knows full well the existence of these shanty towns encourage illegal immigration and promote human trafficking. Moreover, Smith deceitfully chooses to ignore the serious injustice done to many Bahamians by the ongoing invasion of our country by illegal Haitian nationals.

The many thousands of illegal Haitian nationals in our nation have put an enormous strain on our economy and left many lower income Bahamians without decent paying jobs, especially manual labour intensive jobs. Unscrupulous employers in the private sector exploit these illegal Haitian nationals as a cheap source of manual labour while claiming Bahamians don't want to do the same manually intensive work for a slave's laughably small pay, being a pathetic pittance of the fair pay that should be paid for a fair day's work.

Let's not forget too that these illegal Haitian nationals send most of their meagre earnings back to their family members in Haiti using outrageously costly money transfer services provided by businesses owned by very greedy Bahamians. That's money that does not stay and circulate in our local economy. And the invasion of our country by these shanty town dwellers has taken a huge toll on our public health and public education systems, both of which have become grossly under-resourced and dysfunctional to say the least.

like so many other bahamians, i am sick and fed up of listening to smith talk about how inhumane bahamians are to these shanty town dwellers as if they somehow had the right to illegally invade our country and then plant their butts wherever they wanted to. enough is enough. demolishing these shanty towns will send the right loud and clear message to others back in haiti who are contemplating illegally entering our country, likely by paying human traffickers to assist them in doing so. those displaced by the demolition of their illegal and unsafe shanty town dwellings will most likely be incentivized to flee to the usa or return home to haiti.

Justice Cheryl Grant- Thompson needs to quickly decide whether she's pro Bahamian or pro illegal Haitian national. Then a full and proper investigation should be done into the source of Smith's fee billings for representing these shanty town dwellers. No doubt he's being handsomely compensated by some of the international human rights organizations that are well known to be connected to the very sinister and evil multi-billionaire George Zoros. In the meantime,

> His {Winder's} departure comes after Commonwealth Bank suffered a $23.9m loss for the nine months to end-September 2021 - a near-$50m turnaround from the prior year’s $25.3m profit - due to the timing associated with booking loan loss provisions on delinquent credit. The move is not, though, connected to this.

Had Winder remained at Deloitte and was still signing audit reports of Commonwealth Bank as he did for decades, these major loan losses may never have seen the light of day. Small wonder Winder says he doesn't want to comment on his sudden departure right now. And of course William Sands quickly seized the opportunity to throw Winder under the bus to save his own hide from years of unaccounted for loan losses. LMAO

Dirk Simmons! Really?!!

He never should have been appointed to BPL's board by virtue of his very close ties to the corrupt thug Sebas Bastian who operates the criminal numbers enterprise of gambling webshops and online gaming activities known as Island Luck.

And let's not forget that Sears himself is a de facto business partner of Sebas Bastian. Makes you wonder who's running the country because it sure doesn't seem like Davis is doing so.
