This entire problem was created by the Bahamas Bar Association's failure to allow these African lawyers to be called to the 'Bahamian' Bar.
We now have a small minded Bar Association much more interested in protecting the turf of its own many incompetent Bahamian members no matter what the costs may be for the Bahamian people. And Ryan Pinder is obviously one who knows his own legal career needs as much protection from foreign lawyers as it can possibly get. He's never been known to be one of the brighter crayons in the crayon box of Bahamian lawyers. LOL
Our country no longer has a public education system which is why the Davis administration proposes to significantly reduce the portion of the national budget allocated to public education. And of course Glenys Hanna-Martin will be content to simply blame the pandemic and the ministry of health for all of the problems within the ministry of education that she doesn't have the foggiest idea of how to go about addressing in any serious or meaningful way.
Surely there are many more important things that Ryan Pinder and the entire Attorney-General's Office should be laser focused on right now.
Why is Pinder's mind so void of the many important matters he should be prioritizing and giving direction to as opposed to prosecuting his predecessor's well known shortcomings?
Pinder's feeble effort as AG to score cheap and worthless political brownie points ignores the fact that the people elected a new government a couple of months ago to get on with their important business and not for the purpose of rehashing the past.
> Halkitis added, “Our anti-corruption legislation will enforce higher standards of conduct for officials. Senior officials will be called on to lead by example."
We just need campaign finance reform that prevents political parties, elected MPs, senators and other senior government officials from being 'bought' to favour the few wealthy in our society. Right now there is zero transparency regarding the many serious conflicts of interest between the political elite and their 'financial-backers'. I seriously doubt though that Halkitis will ever fully appreciate why Lady Justice is blindfolded.
We can't even get the September 16 election results by polling station from our government and you want the last 100 years of sea level change. Dream on. LMAO
And after Darville gets the five to 11-year-olds all jabbed up, he's going to go after the zero through four-year-olds like Bella Walker, rest her soul.
And continuing government corruption is by far the greatest threat of all. Let's make sure we keep a keen eye on all of Darville's activities as minister of health, especially any dealings involving Wilchcombe and warehouse space.
