> Conceding that many Bahamians are weary of COVID, and fatigued with the protocols that were introduced to combat it, Mr Roberts said of his supermarket mask-wearing stance: “If we’re wrong, we’re wrong on the side of caution. Given what we’ve been through, we want to act with caution. We didn’t like the lockdowns, we didn’t like the things that happened to us, and we don’t want to go through that again.
What a silly and mean old fart. Roberts is actually saying he wants to punish his patrons for the difficult times his food store business had as a result of the unconstitutional and unnecessary emergency health protocols imposed by a tyrannical Minnis led government during the height of the pandemic.
But Roberts is really genuflecting to PM Davis and senior representatives of the Chinese Communist Party in our country, Vomit Christie being the chief Bahamian one among them.
And we all know cruel Davis is very reluctant for his own personal reasons to put an end to all the unconstitutional emergency powers. Without these emergency powers, the forced masking Roberts wishes to impose on his food store shoppers would be illegal as would so many things cruel and corrupt Davis is currently doing behind the scenes.
Those two words "Pay Up" are the first words out of corrupt Davis's mouth whenever he meets prospective foreign investors for the first time in private. And they usually roll off of his tongue while he has his two hands extended out in the shape of a cup that must be filled....his cup!
True to form, the fossil fuel loving @ColumbusPillow chooses to ignore the fact that plants around the world are rapidly disappearing while CO2 levels are rising. Satellite images of the foot print of the Amazon Jungle decades ago compared to now show shocking significant shrinkage of plant life in that equitorial rainforest, the largest one in the world.
Roscoe Thompson is spot on with his concerns. Government would be crazy to let the excusive group of very privileged controlling investors in APD get control of the marsh Harbour port.
Just look at how APD has so significantly increased the cost of everything imported to New Providence since it came into existence. And Dion Bethell can't seem to talk enough about how APD is so profitable while poor Bahamians are being stuck with the tab for the minimum 10% annual return Hubert Ingraham had government give its main investors in an outrageously sweet long term deal.
And to think loony Magistrate McKinney sentenced that poor hungry fella to a couple years in prison the other day for stealing six hot dog buns from a church!!
> Simon Wilson, the Ministry of Finance’s financial secretary, told Tribune Business that satellite imagery was especially effective in detecting undeclared property construction in the Family Islands where “explosive growth” in one unnamed area of Abaco had resulted in 200 new homes being built post-Dorian.
OMG!!! Simple Simon has managed to discover one of the major shanty towns being built by illegal aliens in Abaco. He must be so proud of himself.
Simple Simon will soon be learning from his great love affair with new technology why the saying "Keep it simple, stupid!" has always had such great significance in our country. And notwithstanding all this new costly technology he has his department investing in, he is still hiring like there's no tomorrow in an effort build the monstrous empire he desires so much to rule over. Talk about being born without an ounce of common sense!
Needless requiring young children to wear a mask in any classroom setting is about as cruel as stupid Davis and equally stupid Sands can get. The science has shown for a long time now that young children are the least vulnerable to COVID-19 and are not transmitters of the virus. In fact the science shows that young children are much more likely to suffer serious side-effects, include heart-related problems, from being jabbed with these sinister experimental mRNA vaccines.
Parents should be up in arms about their children being made to wear masks in classroom settings at school because the forced mask wearing is both physically and mentally harmful. Bully Davis himself should be forced to wear a mask each school day until he stops this insanely horrible abuse of young school children. This insanity is beyond madness, and cruel Davis obviously must have a few too many loose screws in his fat head!!!
The Communist Chinese are calling the shots on this absurd mask wearing requirement for school children and cruel Davis is happy to play their game for fear they will cut off the tap and he will be without a source of funds to squander with his cronies. The Communist Chinese are seeking to culturally ingrain unquestioning subservience and submissiveness in generations of Bahamians to come by these harmful mask wearing protocols and both cruel Davis and stupid Sands know that to be the truth.
