They're looking to get extra money from wherever they can because they're now having great difficulty finding enough cookies to fill their own pockets, let alone the pockets of their family members, financial-backers, crony friends, and lovers. It seems all of the cookie jars are empty and no one's able or willing to refill them.

You mean to tell me you now want **onshore** drilling in The Bahamas too! LMAO

tribanon says...

Bingo!

And the plantation owners and union leaders scratch each other's back as they work out their very own 'sweet' deals behind the scenes, with the help of the PM and his Labour Minister, aimed at keeping the slaves slaving away for the minimum pay possible with minimal disruption to the plantation's highly profitable operations.

> Mr Fernander also mentioned the issue of guns and protecting the borders. He said he has initiated a task force to assist the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Royal Bahamas Defence Force, customs and immigration to be part of the initiative in terms of checking and manning the border.

LMAO.

99.9% of the Bahamian public, including most police officers, know only too well that this incompetent clown Fernander, who should never have been appointed police commissioner by corrupt Davis, is not fit to lead the RBDF. Davis's appointment of Fernander as police commissioner is yet another glaring example of why Davis is totally unfit to be PM.

For years now PMH has been (and continues to be) a killing machine. This is why members of our corrupt, incompetent and elitist political ruling class so quickly flee to a U.S. hospital whenever they become seriously ill, e.g., our very own PM when he was first diagnosed last year as having COVID-19. And to add insult to injury, Bahamian taxpayers are paying the exorbitant health insurance premiums for the first class medical insurance coverage our elected government officials and their family members enjoy.

tribanon says...

Bingo!

And to think many of those among the corrupt and incompetent political ruling class, who are fully responsible for our country's failed public health system, have grown-up children who were educated in the U.S. and are now working as medical doctors and nurses in U.S., e.g., our very own PM's daughter. What a joke!

You obviously haven't seen even one of the three separate video (with audio) recordings of the attempted vehicular homicide incident taken by three different people using their cell phones. All three went viral on the internet.

P.S.: The harsh reality is our nation's cupboard has been left bare by an elitist political ruling class that looks after itself while pretending to care about the vast majority of Bahamians who are now suffering like they have never suffered before.

tribanon says...

Today most sensible thinking Bahamians are concerned and fearful about the unfavourable impact corrupt and incompetent elected and other senior government officials are having on the quality of their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

And let's face it, our nation's ability to deal with and recover from hurricanes, pandemics, etc. is seriously hampered by the obvious inability of our corrupt and incompetent elected leaders and other senior government officials to put in place and properly execute well-designed disaster preparedness and recovery/relief programmes.

It's just sickening to know that so many have been incarcerated for having committed much less serious crimes.

This is one heavy albatross that rightfully must remain around the neck of Davis and each of his fellow cabinet members until the public is satisfied this most serious matter has received the full and proper investigation so clearly warranted in the circumstances.
