These incompetent good for nothing leaders we have is the issue. Like the precious commenter said cut expenses. This ain't rocket science. This government in particular is totally reckless and has zero regard for the finances of this country. There should be a Commission of Inquiry into how we have record revenue collection but keep coming up with deficits. Some people need to go to jail.

I doubt the introduction she did warranted all this back and forth. Little kids depending on how this was done wouldn't necessarily think much to it. The LGBTQI community keep pushing the envelope. At some point we need to check on their mental health. But, with regards to this story I think people just need to chill. Unless Jonquel did something outrageous, just let it go. We have bigger issues to address in this country than her introducing her partner. Everything doesn't need to be a platform for the church or the LGBTQI community to give their talking points.

A lot of people giving input but no one stated a specific plan of action with timelines as to the capture of this snake. All of the talking and no action isn't going to lead to a solution.

Lol. The banks have operated largely unchecked. There is a point when a regulator has to step in and say, "This is too much".

The PM likes his talking points. He looks serious and always sounds like he's hard at it working for the people. Lol. This man is a joke. He's pretty much in party mode all the time. The million dollar question is who is actually running this country. Another million dollar question is, can we hire a bunch of forensic accountants yo go through the books of all the government ministries and corporations? Then hire a foreign legal team to indict, judge and sentence all of these thieves. This PM is vybfarvtge worse we've had and that's saying a lot given the terrible line up we've had over our entire history. We Need to be like the French, the US, etc wginactually send their politicians and other senior government officials to prison for corruption.

Say fuel prices will cause price gouging. A lot of taxi drivers are crooked. They set arbitrary flat rates and adjust them accordingly based on whether you're tourist, Bahamian from a nice area or a Bahamian from the inner city. It's all games. What we need is Uber or Lyft. Thisnwould help greatly to avoid the outright flagrant cheating of people with these fares. I've heard very embarrassing stories from tourists here who either I met here or ran into while traveling overseas who give bad accounts of being cheated on fares by taxi drivers. Some of the rates charged I wonder of the driver was driving from the airport (as an example) to Ragged Island.

He full of shiitte! This is the biggest game in town. Nothing is coming out of this. And where is the lawyer who was at thr center of all of this. Should bring in the illegal gun touting Bahamar head of security to investigate too aye?

Why is this idiot talking? From a business sense if those alleged vacant rooms could somehow turn a profit they wouldn't be vacant. Atlantis is a far cry of what it once was. It's done. Atlantis with the Bahamian discriminatory practice over the years when it was in its glory now begging Bahamians to stay there to fill vacant rooms. Bahamar is the new show in town. They too have adopted the Atlantis former discriminatory approach to Bahamians. At some point they will be begging the same Bahamians they treat like dogs to stay in vacant rooms to help keep their doors open.

It's interesting that resorts in this country takes an anti-Bahamian stance. Everything Graeme says here is really about "John and Jane white Tourist". Locals will continue to be handled like outcasts, no matter their economic power.

Another property to add to black Bahamian discrimination. Thank you uncle Tom PM.
