As a man (though not relevant here) I find it odd that men from the state dictate rules that impact women. Thebpoitns raised here seem very obvious. So why is the state taking such a hardline? I do believe that abortion in general can not be approached lightly but it is not the state that should be dictating this. This seems rooted in the church's position on the subject. However, church and state are supposed to be separate. This is a serious topic but one that should not be a state decision.

Are they serious. Nurses have left this country in droves for better opportunities in the US. You treat nurses like crap and you expect them to stay. They fought over paychecks, work conditions, health insurance, etc. It's very simple Dr. Darville, treat people with respect and they stay and you won't be going all over the globe to look for replacements.

People some time spend too much time shouting and arguing they miss the point that a lot can be achieved through dialogue. A lot of times people don't understand something and they attack before trying to understand. You don't have to agree with everything you see or hear but you have to respect that everyone in this world has rights regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation,.etc.

Ms. Daxon is a politician. So she should be aware of the optics of her actions. Even if she didn't read before forwarding, the optics are bad. I doubt she didn't know what she forwarded. She's trying to backpedal. You can disagree with a lot of things a person may do politically or personally, etc but one should show some class and diplomacy in a person's passing. If the person was guilty of heinous acts then that would be an exception.

Professional organization? Lol. Most of them can't spell professional, let alone know what that is.

What the hell? This is crazy. You already have officers being extremely aggressive and abusing their power now you're incentivizing bad behavior? The Commissioner should be fired for suggesting something so reckless. Giving an officer an award for bravery in the act of duty on an occasion where it's deserving is fine. Creating a competition where the worse within each of them can be brought to the forefront is really poor judgment.
