Wow! There are a bunch of religions in the world. Who is the the judge to decide which ones should have what rights. You are employing your own bias into this which is grossly unfortunate. Every religion has its rules, its practices, etc. Some points overlap between religions. It is not the job of the state to cherry pick which religions should be given certain rights/respected. People have negative views of Muslims, Hindus and the list goes on. It's just plain ignorance. If you look at things with objectivity, no one was on Earth at the beginning to know the true story. So, simply believe what you believe to be true and respect the men and women next to you whi choose to believe what they deem to be true. If you believe you know the truth in religion then that would make you God (assuming you're Christian). So, just take ir down a notch.
These are some really good points. What we know here is for all of these contracts there is a kickback system in place. There will be tons of shortcomings. We can never be above board on anything when government is involved. Also, why are we not spending money on health education. Most of the issues in this country boils down to poor diet and the lack of exercise. Get these right and we would have less strain on the limited public healthcare resources.
Thus whole BPL story smells of a few greedy folks angling for a huge cash win. The people are not being look3d out for by the government. The WHOLE government is only looking out for themselves and the people around them. BPL is just one of many things the government is handing over to their cronies for profit.
Interesting! UB is in serious need of am upgrade physically. It's a mix of what needs rl be condemned with newer constructed buildings next to buildings in between these extremes.tjay just look like they are on their wat to be condemned. Based on my limited understanding the university seems floundering to find It's way academically. President and senior faculty fights. Credits not being recognized too many places. Just an exercise in taking students money and time with little to show at the end. A lot of the top employers locally are not a fan of the institution. I've been in numerous conversations that end in they don't see it as a serious quality tertiary institution. They need a serious drive to e credible in academia globally. They need to clean house on a lot of the administration roles as they seem to be part of the hold up. The only thing they seem to have gotten good at is creation of arbitrary fees to extort students and alumni of from time to time.
As a former alumni who went on to other universities after, I can say UB is FAR behind where they should be. As a former student years ago I felt the need to donate to the university to do my part and to encourage others I know to pledge continual support. This was the idea until I had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with some of the folks in administration and then I realize my money was better spent at the other institutions I attended. I hav never seen such unprofessional, petty, short sighted people in my life. This is essentially why UB is in the state it is in. I feel.sorry for whoever tries to run that train wreck. I wanted to set up scholarships for students to attend there or to even give funding for students leaving to go abroad but how do you give when the people to handle the funds show zero respect for you.
Why did the Tribune not disable commenting for thisnarticle? Their choice for disabling or not seems to be all over the place. I'm not sure why they printed this article. If the person is simply someone renting from the guy who perhaps had zero to do with the murder and they just wanted to get information to try to figure out what may have happened, there isn't much of a.story here. Also, why state generally a "high tanking official" but then say the person is a tenant? Doesn't that pretty much tell a bunch of people who that person is? We have some geniuses writing for the Tribune.
That letter wasn't too clear. Is the writer complaining about a short term lease issue? If so, then I'm going to guess they are doing an Airbnb set up, which is a major issue for a lot of condo communities. Long and short of it, if that's where they are going, you don't want to allow for this from a security standpoint. Condos residents are sometimes single occupants, male and female, and young couples with one or two small kids. So, of you have people back.and forth who have no grounding there you put everyone in the community at risk. As a condom owner you have rights to you condo, but the rights of the e tore community supersedes that of any individual owner. Any condo owner has to understand prior to purchase what condo ownership entails. It is a group concept. The majority of the owners can challenge the board and also can replace the board. But, like I said if what you are trying to achieve isn't consistent with the expectations of the community, you can not win. If this is all about an Airbnb situation, I can say that this is a popular point in condo setups and most places are not allowing for it.
We have vaccines, etc on hand. I'm guessing he means two shots and a box is aspirin. Lol. We k kw just how inept the government is with things. There's an expiration date for these vaccines. If no one takes it, it gets thrown away. So, what's the strategy? The main person's they say are ar risk are gay and bisexual men are people with multiple sex partners. However, the way the disease is transmitted doesn't add up to why these groups are more at risk. Someone should explain this to ensure there isn't a panic or is the global community guessing like they did with COVID?
Just to be clear, are these mushrooms legal? I'm guessing he didn't have PTSD, right? There are studies showing positive effects of psychedelic drugs. This case doesn't help that argument.
