Thank goodness we're reopening to increase the spread. The government is ensuring we're on track to have everybody infected.

They know this already. It's a game to appear to do something. What they will do is increase the number of injections. We do know Bahamians will travel, some of whom will return infected. Also, the trickle of tourists to come in will have some hits in terms of infection and this will add to our problem.

We've got a real life version of "Dumb and Dumber" playing out with the PM and the Minister of Tourism.

Mr. Ferguson wants Covid-19 to be treated as an industrial injury. That's too far! Companies operate to make profits. If your revenue is less than your expenses, you have a loss. So, in the midst of a pandemic you're operating at a loss and the best idea is to pay thousands of workers, based on this idea, money you dont have which increases your losses. This could easily translate to businesses closing. If businesses close, how does the employment situation look then? This isn't a good idea. It's sad that people are in bad shape economically, but you can't destroy the local economy in the long term for short term gain.

This tent facility looks pretty good. It's good that organizations like this have come to our aid in the midst of crisis. The nation should be thankful for the effort here and even greater hurricane Dorian.

The government needs to step up to address the needs within our healthcare system. The issues go way beyond Covid-19. Dr. Darville's comments about more resources for Covid-19 isn't the best idea. Sure we can do with more resources. But, the idea is to do your best to contain the problem, not keep expanding the healthcare facility while the problem balloons out of control.

An important point to note here, Covid-19 is exposing the state of health of our nation. Some diseases can not be eliminated but sometimes the numbers of people affected are impacted by diet and exercise. Even having a disease like hypertension, diabetes, etc. can be controlled with diet and exercise. Also, being consistent with taking medication. As a nation, we've done a horrible job with our health. It's time for the nation to think healthier.

It is understandable that members of the Saxns wanted to honor a giant in their organization. But, the PM has to ensure that the rules are followed. There must be consistency. You put in place fines for breach of the emergency orders. So, where are the fines? Why are people not showing up in the magistrates court for this infraction? You allow a rush out but then want to crucify the guy selling coconut water by thr roadside. This is ridiculous.

This was a terrible decision to reopen especially with no plan. Everyone knows that a reopening leads to increase in cases. It's really unbelievable the mistakes made and continued to be made in this pandemic. It's like they want everyone to get infected.

Ms. Gibson has some good ideas there. The challenge now is that money is tight. What should happen is the police should see what things they can do now to tackle this issue. Also, social services should look more into these matters. The church should also be stepping in here. Neighbors have to be neighbors too. It will take everybody to make an effort to chip in.

NIB needs to do better with collecting contributions. Punishment has to be levied for those noncompliant. Although, people are looking for assistance, people have to understand the government can not sustain this assistance indefinitely. Minty isn't coming in as it was pre-pandemic, so money is tight.

The government, however, should manage the crisis better which will allow some businesses to stay open which will keep people employed. This will reduce some of the strain on the system.

Sounds like the company responsible for this don't fully understand their system. If you set up a virtual learning system, you should know how many people could possibly be on that system and you should sufficient resources to handle way beyond that number as you may need to add other islands at a later date. Also, taking into account more users ensures your system can sustain the load.

Technical issues can occur for any number if reasons. But, this seems like a miscalculation by the vendor.

They were telling pharmacies before to do curbside as well. Clearly, there's no thought put into this process.
