She said how surprised she was along with her management team about this sudden change from the Ministry of Education. She goes on to tell of the challenges she sees. But, what is interesting is she takes the time to go to the media, but you don't see any mention of the fact that she spoke to the Minister to see if he would reconsider his position.

She is a union leader who isn't shy of a fight. So, why go first to the media before talking to the Ministry. Is it about hoping to solve an issue or is it about getting in the media? Do we have to tell her, if the Ministry isn't being reasonable she needs to stand up for her people? It seems she is working her own personal angle here.

Church are allowed to stream online. Theybare also allowed to have 10 persons to attend church. So, if they want to deliver a message to their congregation, they can do online. With all the challenges of Covid-19, the religious community want to focus on the collection plate rather than people's health.

The Minister of National Security is more concerned about air time than he is about solving crime. We have drones. Are we using them? In Nassau we have shotspotter technology, but there doesn't appear to be any improvement in police response.

That's useful information. So, we are now discussing airconditioners as devices that aid in the transmission of Covid-19. More information is always better. Hopefully with this information we (globally) can add this to assist in the control of Covid-19.

Although, I can some hypocrisy in the PLP calling for transparency and accountability, I would admit that the government should give an account of what is going on. Besides disclosing to the various bodies that should be looking into the state of our finances, the people need to be told what is going on. We can see that management skills is lacking in the new government. It has been a skill lacking in prior governments as well. At some point we have to start a new day. We need a better country and better governance.

On the errors, there are so many in the papers. It's like no one reviews these articles before publishing. I saw an article a couple.of days ago where they mentioned about an elderly man who travelled here was found with drugs and sent to jail. He was released after spending I think 5 months after pleading guilty. I mentioned that article because the story starts by saying he was caught with cocaine. Then later in the story it changes to.marijuana. so, I'm reading the article and thinking what the hell is going on at the Tribune? Are these articles being checked at all? Also, to make that mistake the reporter must not ha r read their article after writing it.

It's a global mess. It's really rought for parents and students. Also, teachers are having a tough time to. This is definitely not an easy year.

It would be good if he explained his methods here. He starts with 10, them goes 9^2 then some powers of 4, etc. But, he's not explaining to the reader the logic behind the numbers used. The question is, is there a general model that he tweaked to determine a Bahamian one?

Also, he's not mentioning what factors can impact this model, that is increase the values or decrease them. Humans and scientific theory don't work in tandem.

If he's opening up beaches, you might as well let the bus drivers earn an income. Between 5am to 9am with the beaches, you can be sure you will have half the island out. If you're allowing for businesses to open, you have to keep in mind some of the employees at some of these businesses take public transportation. So either they have to find someone to give them a ride or they have to pay for a cab. Last time I checked some people only make minimum wages, so cab fare wouldn't be a part of their budget.

On the cab drivers, there are not many tourists about and they for the most part are allergic to locals, so what was the rationale for allowing them to operate now. I see a greater need for public buses than taxis as stated above.

He's talking about renovations but we don't have PMH up to speed to handle an influx of Covid-19 patients. Also, the doctors and nurses haven't been dealt with.

Did they disclose which companies got these contracts? Also, was it a fair and open bidding process? The words transparency and accountability is deafening here.
