The penalties must me made much harsher. They are ridiculously less than a slap on the wrist. The driver who killed my son got away with a $9,000.00 fine and a years probation from driving - which I have heard from his neighbours he ignored by the following week.
Respect for family, and country. Please stop blaming these stupid and sad occurrences on tradition or 'the way we are' culture. It isn't. Rape, disrespect and stupidity have been allowed to fester for too long without severe come-uppance. Time to pay the price - if necessary have your nuts removed and sing your sadness.
It is usual that the harm done by a person done by reacting to a grievance with a personally percieved wrong - the target is done by a woman in an out of family situation. Rarely otherwise.
Please hold back Ladies and Gents - he was only led to do what his party enables and encourages their reps to do. Whoa and please cruise lightly because what you beleive you see will seriously bite you up the arse because it might require further investigation.
This is a wonderful idea and the most worthwhile scenario for our Port. Keep the creeps and 'vendors' under control and we will have a First Mark destination spot to welcome visitors to my country
Mr. Allen makes a further point as to why the WTO is a bad fit for the Bahamas. We can only avoid the pitfalls by understanding where they lie and not be led down a path of disadvantage.
Cruise ships are evil advantage taking entities whose greed, corruption and influence benefits none but themselves.. One Bahamian company which I worked with went under because of their terrible practices. They would keep over 50% of a day ticket price, make unreasonable demands and when told to change their practice of doing this - they outright said that they could and would shut us down in retribution by telling passengers not to use our facility, and they did. They did not care about anything but themselves. The Cruise directors are nasty and not to be trusted - but they are also in it for themselves.. Bad bad juju all around.
