Mr. Burrows is absolutely correct. NO to Wynn. Look what travesty was afforded to Royal Caribbean. Again, that should be revisited and reduced. They will take visitors straight from their ships to their own beach club enterprise. Bad for all of us.
There is a necessity for cheques, whose short sighted idea was it to ban them? This two thirds contrivance is nowhere close to the truth with persons to whom I have spoken on this subject. It is a 100% agreement that cheques are a necessity and should never be banned.
The fork in the road seems to only further divide an already broken, divided and opinionated populace. Take for example the destruction of the Columbus statue at Government House. It is a National monument and a gift to heritage. It was enjoyed by most and a landmark representation of an extremely important role in the history of this, our Western Hemisphere. Many tourists and most Bahamians found it inspiring over the past couple centuries, many pieces of our history are disavowed by some who are inspired by hate due to a lack of understanding and appreciation and who are poisoned by short term online influences. A sad reflection on our lack of appreciation of static representation of time past and our factual evolution.
They block the courses to be laid out for the young sailors and besides being a nuisance they pay nothing and rarely contribute anything of value to the economy. A legal stop to this incursion hopefully will soon be made to correct this situation.
I have been trying for weeks to get the business license done, all I get is frustration and stress. Last year it was easy and done in the first week of January and using credit card payment. I don’t know how to do these transfer things at all.
