I remember when Brewers Ltd which was just west of the straw market would put an ad in the papers saying that the roadway that belonged to them would be blocked and chained off for twenty four hours once a year so that they could retain ownership, otherwise they would lose it as it would be considered public access. This closing it for twenty four hours was usually done on a Sunday so as to cause least inconvenience and insure that they would maintain ownership. If the need to do this is still in effect and this closure once a year was advertised and done then the property owners maintain ownership, otherwise it becomes a public access and right of way.
Also the nygard clone who has the Cove in Eleuthera, I understand that he fires workers before having to pay for the near completion of their work, never had planning permission, has no conduits for his electrical systems - against safety codes andwhen anyone brings him upon his product and conditions, he calls Christie and has everything swept away quietly.
stislez and kaytaz appear to not understand anything but their small minded and racist views. Sad that they cannot appreciate an honourable presentation of the position that they hold. Perhape they want the justices to wear 'junkanoo' or 'carnival' apparel.
We knew that this would happen. Perry Christie has no concept of what is good for the Bahamas. It appears that he will revoke Tony Myers lease on Ocean Cay, and give it wholesale to another future failure which will only benefit the company - as long as it lasts - and leave the Bahamas broken and poorer.
The problem is that when one is caught and being processed, thirty more speed by. It takes motorcycle backup and responsible follow through to make it work. First, stop drinking and driving, add in an open bottle law where anyone driving with an open bottle or can of alcoholic tainted liquid is immediately arrested and taken to the pound, and even those who do not dip their headlights to oncoming traffic are arrested and brought up on charges pertaining to their transgressions.
