The Chinese have been notoriously unprofessional in their building practices bordering upon criminal. They should have been sent packing long ago - in fact with their terrible track record they should never have been allowed to begin. This government allowed this to happen as the result of greed and deceit.
I welcome them to our country both as individuals and for the offices that they represent. I am proud that our country is on the list of those chosen to be visited. I hope that we show them the respect and grace that we are capable of giving and I hope that they leave with fond memories of a successful visit well enjoyed, with the reports going back being good and fair - also that they will wish to visit us again.
Well said Bruce, and a direct acknowledgement of the real truths. Our people do not begin to understand the enormity of consequences which will result from this unhealthy union.
They are welcome here as individuals and for the office that they represent. I am proud to know that we are a destination being considered, and I hope that we are able to offer them our best welcome and a comfortable and memorable stay.
There was an issue in the past regarding the toilets I believe at the Chinese built stadium. Rather than using proper and approved size PVC waste pipes apparently two inch pipes were used which would not be able to handle the waste run. If this is the type of problems that Baha Mar is encountering then there is no surprise in necessary upgrades, cost over runs and delays. These are not simple mistakes, they take time and money to redress, and if proper procedure had been followed through from the beginning , perhaps so many of today's difficulties could have been avoided. If this is in fact the case, then I would put the fault at the feet of the construction company.
I understand that while all attention is focused on the fireworks initiated by the two silly boys, (Mitchell and Gibson) that there are bills currently being pushed through for first and second readings, one important bill deals with taxes and demanding annual licences for solar panels and their provision of electricity to homes and apartments and businesses. I know of no other countries that would do this, but instead they provide cost cutting incentives for alternative energy supply, this could be another nightmarish nail in the coffin of this administration, as these ideas of licensing the conversion of sunshine to power will not ever be respected or paid by anyone. Myself and all I know included. In many areas where there is no public power supply available, solar is a way to power the basics of daily necessities. and all persons must have the choice to purchase power from a government entity or use private alternatives on their own homes or businesses

Well said and very true, even so, Mitchell is not fit for the post that he holds.
