Reparations to today's sad population from yesterday is just laughably stupid. Those being charged owe not one farthing or anything else to lazy useless beggars who want something for nothing!
It should be a check in and check out - otherwise there is just trusting the foreigners for abiding by the rules - and you know that a high percentage of them will not abide by the rules. There should also be a contigency that when they arrive at a destination outside of our territorial waters that a certain implanted GPS code be reflected for our knowledge. This would be a marine follow through like the over Bahamas territory transit following the over country air traffic from which we will - if equipped enough to receive benefits which at the moment other jurisdictions receive emoluments.
The disgusting nasty bush league Bahamians who leave garbage, dirty diapers, and other assorted trash on the beaches and their environs must be made to do cleanup as community service.. Perhaps then they will learn responsibility and pride and even perhaps instill community awareness and clean habits to their young. Otherwise hanging is too good for them!
Absolutely, and if the only persons able to make a living are the businesses that bribe the pirate cruise directors while the town of Nassau remains a closed dead skeleton, then there will have to be some equailising down the road. No Nassau stopoff, then no 'private islands' can be permitted.
Sammii, I hope that better days are ahead. So much of young troubled youth only get direction from the United States and useless macho attitudes. Everyone can contribute something positive to our national narrative - however it is a fact that some do these deeds out of adventure and not duress. Those who are their mentors and figures of leadership and who portray these methods to follow are as sick and as culpable as those who perpetrate these stupid and dangerous deeds.
