This will only serve to bite their idiot president in the arse later down the road. 1. you don't go back on allies, they WILL go back on you. 2. The goods are here, open and distribute - tell them to F*** off and get out of our busuness and our country. 3. It is little wonder that everyone hates the U.S. especially under this administration!
There might be enough food, but it takes time to price and restock shelves, time for large deliveries from warehouses and wholesalers time for the cleaning and disinfecting of shelves and surfaces. Taking into account the time and the ability to do this without having paniced persons all about during the process, having change for the customers' purchases - all of this is necessary to put into perspective when making out a "plan".
we are about 9th or 10th in line for ship registry numbers, Panama and Liberia being the leaders, and I doubt whether they would have the capacity to deal with what the U.S. is saying regarding responsibility. The actual owners must be held responsible and as the Bahamas doesn't own these craft the owners and their insurers are at the helm for safety for passengers and crew also upkeep of their vessels.
Next weekend being the Easter weekend will probably see even less social distancing than before. At the moment it is the self proclaimed bad boys and the uneducated who prefer to consider themselves immune, above the law or just disregard any rules put in place for the health benefit of the country and its people - including themselves. Please - next weekend, celebrate your Easter at home.
