I would love to know the reason that local hatcheries and egg producers closed down. I hope that it is not the same as when Pindling and his bunch destroyed the Eleuthera, Andros and other national sustaining enterprises by 'nationalising' everything that was well run into inept disasters
If you look around the world, most responsible countries are instituting these same measures. A couple irresponsible countries in North America and South America are disregarding the necessity of personal distancing and hygiene measures. However, many are not being thoughtful and mindful through their application. The Bahamas ' efforts are not perfect - as is universal, but they are better than most.
Other countries are in the same position, and it would be good to know what plans they have in the works so that we can put together forward action rather than following at the tail end of reasonable and successful models being conceived and acted upon by those same others.
This will only serve to bite their idiot president in the arse later down the road. 1. you don't go back on allies, they WILL go back on you. 2. The goods are here, open and distribute - tell them to F*** off and get out of our busuness and our country. 3. It is little wonder that everyone hates the U.S. especially under this administration!
There might be enough food, but it takes time to price and restock shelves, time for large deliveries from warehouses and wholesalers time for the cleaning and disinfecting of shelves and surfaces. Taking into account the time and the ability to do this without having paniced persons all about during the process, having change for the customers' purchases - all of this is necessary to put into perspective when making out a "plan".
