C.B. Moss is a person who has concerned and touched lives ever since I have personally known him. My respect for him is absolute. His recognition is most deserved.

The Florida keys fished their resources out - so do we want to be like them? Are we next to realise that hindsight is always viewed with 20/20 visuon?

Porcupine, absolutely correct. Disney corporation are past masters at discovering and taking advantage of the weak, weak minded and greedy. And being a descendent of the Eleutherian Adventurers and a resident of Eleuthera I take offense at the message posted by Clamshell saying that most Eleutherans are pro Disney. That is patently untrue.

Privatise Bahamasair. As Dionisio says, the government is lousy at conducting commercial business!

I would make it a trade point to remove the red chinese from ANY point of business and our country - which they can easily accept as a loss and perhaps sell their holdings that are in their advantage for their prospect of world domination to us, who might believe in not profit at the expense of a doomsday outcome, but salvaging our country to a comfortable level of 1940's and 1950's revival of sanity and betterness in the Bahamas which did serve us better than the tawdry rubbish allowed since.

After independence, we lost our beauty and class. There is nothing quaint or charming about this dirty mess that we now must trawl through each day. The tourist of yesteryear goes elsewhere and we only get masses of cheap end criuisers. On Sunday I was confronted by a particularly nasty woman from the U.S. who seemed to dislike anyone who wasn't from the United States (America she called it) or anyone who would not immediately answer do her shouted demands. Me being a Bahamian, I am of course a lesser creature of this world than should be allowed to quietly respond to her shouted demands. She hopefully got the messagewhen I told - in moderated tone - her to shout her inquiries elsewhere - perhaps in her place of origin.

Privatise Bahamasair and see whether this ridiculous idiocy happens to that carrier as well.
