I wish some wealthy, successful businessmen who actually know how to run something, and not just want to go into politics for greed and money, would put themselves up for an elected office.

Why did gov borrow money from
Saudia Arabia? Can't they borrow money from Bahamian Banks? Maybe the Saudis are getting something from gov. Are they getting land in Eleuthera for a resort?

Why is there nothing here online about the $55m Saudi Loan? Why does the gov have to borrow money from Saudia Arabia? Why not from Bahamian Banks? Will there be a big development soon in Eleuhera by the Saudi's promising hundreds of jobs? Will it be Crown Land? Just curious!!!!

The Gov should be ashamed for charging senior citizens VAT on medical and prescriptions, as if we have not paid the gov enough in our lifetime.

URCA should look into why we are paying so much money to BPL as deposit. BPL is holding $1,250.00 deposit from me and my bill has never been over $300.00.....I always pay on time and in full. Politicians can do something but they only care about their greedy selves.

BPL should be ashamed of their service. Why do they require so much for a deposit? BPL is holding $1,250.00 deposit from me, a 75 year old cancer patient who has always paid my bill on time and in full. My monthly bill has NEVER been over $300.00 yet they have my money. It is about time they refund our deposits if our bills are always paid on time. not to mention the bad service we have to endure year after year. time for them to refund our deposits or at least a portion. Politicians don't care about us voters, only their greedy selves.
