I agree with you there. There are several things wrong with the legislation such as vague and broad language that allow for lots of questionable decision to be protected under 'National security' and 'international relations'.
That may be so, but the Turks are doing far better than we are economically with a lower cost of living and higher standard of living. They also score higher than us on the Human development index. If there is any country that's a plantation between the two countries... it's The Bahamas.
The reporter made a simple name-error. I don't think it should lead to him losing his job over, but there should not be a repeat of the mistake in the future.
It doesn't matter what the underlying purpose is, it's the same as regular banks, to make money off the interest AKA usury. Overly aggressive spending, year over year increases in the budget and year over year deficits don't make the agencies that lend stupid, it makes the borrower the idiot. If you are referencing the stories of a few latin American countries and that of Jamaica you are grossly ignoring the realities of the cold war and American Hegemony. The story is not black and white there is nuance.
That being said, are you suggesting our government has not ramped up spending as of the last 4 years?

This will be a fascinating election. I trust more in Adrian than Rollins or LBT, but that's for the good people of Long Island to decide upon.
