im not against the move, but fact remains right now she has the most power within the DNA side of the camp. If she can get the DNA to shift on some of their policies then it's a good deal.
But still, that look on Rollins' face is hilarious
She appointed him... and he's the leader of the party! Oh my god this is hilariously entertaining! Look at the photo will Rollins' face! Loretta has more power in the DNA at the moment than ANY member of the DNA has ever had. She can now indirectly play king maker and will perhaps jimmy her way in to leadership of the party.
If the DNA changes their asinine policies I will vote for a DNA candidate. but this seems like Deja Vu... Rollins would have shuffled to 4 different political parties... plus LBT's power fetish will not just end and she might not just submit to a Branville lead DNA. She has shown herself to be inept in that regard. Nothing is certain...
But if Alfred Sears takes leadership in the PLP, the entire game changes again.
This is the most fascinating and entertaining political cycle I have ever seen. But instead of their being a season finale, it's the future of the country as we know it. Everything is on the line at the moment
Ego is the force that will see the PLP in power for another 5 years. At this point, if Alfred become the PLP leader he has my vote. I'm depressed just saying that...
I don't think the destruction of the Bahamas is avoidable anymore, we are only children in a den of child molesters trying to find help. No matter what we do, we will get taken advantage of. :(
This is amusing and terrifying at the same time. I want an alternative but I can't cast my ballot with any of these lot. I have no candidates or party that represents my interests or what I consider the best for this country. The DNA have poor policies, from what Bran revealed already, the FNM is a Dodo Bird, the sexy 7 have no party, the People's movement is a hodgy podgy grouping with individuals I share no common ground in policy with, and the PLP never gave a crap about anyone anyway.
I have no-one I support, no party.... and lots of Bahamians feel the same which is why the voter registry is so low. This is like going to the food store where all the food is rotten and the milk has started to turn.
For me to vote I'm simply picking who is the lesser of all evils.
Now is a good time for Bran to stop being a jackass on his stupid policy suggestions and get out there in the lime light as an alternative. If he would just be a progressive and not a populous moron I'd actually hands down vote for the DNA. Someone just give me a bloody alternative that's sensible and fiscally conservative to this band of jack asses in the PLP for fuck sake.

you guys realize we had 41 seats in 2007 right? 1 extra minister is not a game breaker.
