Bahamas Press is allegedly ran by a former PLP campaigner, Bahamas Uncensored is also allegedly ran by a former protestor and current moron running in Foxhill. If He doesn't own it, he sure as hell wrote material.
I'd argue Deepthroat Bahamas is another one of those groups. Yellow Journalism at it's finest with the sole intent to sway public opinion for political gain.
both enjoyed the same immense power afforded to them under the constitution. One operated like Stalin , Minus the killings, and the other operates like Dubya Bush
No wtf is this idiot doing? Permanent and pensionable is exactly wtf got us into this mess! contract based on merit not tenure. Plus our public service has grown significantly and is still grossly ineffective in certain departments. What we need is to cut the service retrain or restaff. Which I must admit the PLP began to do at a snails pace though. Even Minnis in his ineptitude recognized the issue with a bloated civil service.
You know what's arrogant Dorsett? Taking land and Parks out of the Ministry of Works and under your portfolio to give your cronies contracts to build $350,000 bathrooms on beaches. Bathrooms that are either broken down or are never opened. That department was always under curry favor for decades, you just made it worse. Basically giving yourself contracts.
I support moving towards a republic and away from the Fuhrer like powers of which the PM currently enjoys. Maybe if our system actually operation properly my opinion would be different.
We don't have the choice in this matter anymore, regardless. If memory serves we have hinged our economy on the spike in jobs the hotel is to create. Failure for it to launch and have an economic impact may very well tank us with another downgrade to junk. Looking at the budget and expenditures we are way over our heads and arguably in an untenable situation.
Notice the downgrade report came out just hours before the "Big Bahamar Announcement" from Mein Fuhrer Christie. Smoke and mirrors and we have to pay to keep the show going.
Damned if we do and damned if we don't, we've been shafted by Ingraham and Christie in the long run.
Bostwick is nothing but a shameless opportunist that with prostitute what's left of his name for a shot at office. I don't dislike the man's ideas, but like you I am weary of his intentions and I have seen a little behind the scenes to make me have an unfavorable view of his political aspirations.
