Charge them and For FK sake stop giving these sentences concurrently, sentence people consecutively. So if charges equate to 20 years (in prison years) they should serve bloody 20 years!

Democracy needs
Informed, participating, rational and educated electorate
Informative and responsible media/press
Rational and differentiating choices for governance.
Which of these things do we have?

You resign with a time-frame in place for a smooth transition. also our history shows that BS is just that BS. That prospect of resigning only works when there is honor. this is the Bahamas, not fairy-tale land of rainbows and flowers. These are gangsters we are dealing with.

We seem to be in a seasn Globally of making stupid decisions since the Greek Crisis. I wouldn't be surprised if he got into power again or held his seat. We don't vote on logic and reasoning, we vote on emotion. Well I'm saying We and I never voted before lol. This shall be the first time and I shall make it count!

"Enterprise surveys suggest that the main business obstacle cited by firms is an inadequately educated workforce"

Told this to someone before, nothing but insults came my way... sigh

March on to economic oblivion

Alex_Charles says...

Of course Snakey Wilson can say that. Didn't arawak homes just score a massive contract this year in what the PM calls a stimulus to the contraction industry, because Snakey can fit more homes on the properties?
I have no respect for the gangster operation. A dollar for Arawak homes is a dollar for ALL the current and former ministers that have invest in that gangster operation.

youth unemployment was above 30% in 2014 some almost 10,000 students have graduate ssince then, so expect that number to increase. Additional our economy cannot grow fast enough under the current policy and practices to encompass our growing unskilled labour force. It's not just those who go off to college that are dissuaded either, those who graduate from COB face many of the same issues but it's worse because unlike those in Canada and the USA, they are stuck here

we were advised to make budget cuts on spending and reduce the size of the labour force. the government ignored that recommendation and introduced a new tax. Even after they did that, spending was increased. If Minnis is to carry out his policies, he must cut the public service and find a way to support the private sector. Failing that our economy will only get worse. When government is the largest employer, you have a major problem.
