This is so stupid. Why does anyone need to make up stuff about these guys? Criticism their positions on issues or their plans/policies or lack thereof. That's how you win a debate and show that you are a better party/candidate.
If this is true, the PLP as to dump all the dinosaurs from the party, it's beyond clear they care not to govern for the people, but rather their pockets. This is why we never have dates on policy in this country, none of these guys on either side have much to offer.
"The Annual Foreign Trade Report, released this week by the Department of Statistics, revealed that imports continued to expand at a faster rate than The Bahamas' goods exports."
Thanks Captain obvious. When hasn't that been the case in the last 20 years?
That payout seems excessive. Why do we the consumer always have to get shafted with this shit! always, everything that happens with that nanny up institution always involves us paying more and more and getting worse and worse service!
It feels as though BPL/BEC is nothing but a big loom. How can my light bill be $56kwh then $245 fuel surcharge? Yet we can afford this nonsense?
I read this on Caribbean360 I think. I don't quite see how Caricom is going to help Haiti when the whole region is having financial problems of their own. Haity's issue isn't it's financial issues, it's the fact that they either have weak or non-existent institutions. The very foundation of a nation depends on the strength of it's institutions and the systems that are used to communicate between them. To fix Haiti, Haiti needs capacity, institutional strengthening structure just so you can get the stability necessary for stability. Otherwise Haiti will never leave failed state status.
The US and France really did a number of those people, but it can be fixed.
It's not the ignorance prevails (which it does, in spades) but it's that a few disgusting characters at the top wish to obstruct any moves to shift the status quo. I truly hate the political establishment for things like this. I don't always see eye to eye with Save the Bays or that Nygard fella, but there is a civil way to address grievances without conducting ourselves like petty gangsters and thugs.
desperate to feed their families? Is that why they treat their Haitian neighbors with such contempt when Haitians try to do the same? To hell with the DR. If they are trying to feed their families then do so in their own damn waters and stay TF out of ours.
Wish our Defense Force boats actually had proper naval guns instead of the Water guns the Christie administration switched them to. We can't take threats of death by these animals lightly.
not sure what race has to do with anything in this conversation. I don't know who hurt you Naughty, but you need to work that out. I can agree with you on the not splitting the stalls. If 1 person won't pay, why complicate it by adding more people to the equation?
Watch, just watch as another c***sucker gets another bribe to buy garbage generators. Or someone gets a kick back. I am so tired of this nonsense. If and when it happens and the person/s are caught and found guilty, fast track this to the death penalty.
