I gleaned something very different from this piece. It isn't that the older generation and the younger generation grow apart as the youth lack respect, the youth simply don't care because their interests, life problems and priorities are entirely different from baby boomers, who are two generations older than millennials (the oldest of which are currently 37 and the youngest are 22). The fact that you conflate Millennials with Generation Z is hilarious as it shows how lost you are in the 'generation gap'.

Just to update you on the list of generations
Lost Generation
G.I. Generation
Silent Generation
Baby boomers - > The BBQ King
Generation X
Millennials
Generation Z - > Booger
.
So while you consider 'Booger' to be lousy... his depiction of 'The BBQ King' aptly applies to "y’all old people; y’all too grumpy."

These are facts.

unemployment will never be below 6%. Actually I don't think our unemployment has ever been that long for as long as I've been live. So keep dreaming on that one/

Short term solution to a long term problem. Can't fault them for trying but the fact still remain, we suck at governing as a country.

well... first of all the WTO does not call for the elimination of subsidies nor does it call for the elimination of customs duties. It actually allows for both of those things to exist and most major players within the WTO still employ protectionist measures to ensure the growth of their local industries. The WTO calls for massive amount of regulations, standardization and legislation to be brought fourth. There are actually so many different regulations that most technocrats I know within the organization don't know all of them themselves. Hence why they have so many specialists working there.

The government should absolutely release a policy paper on as to the what, why and how they plan to do with this. I am no Pro-WTO for the Bahamas but I am certainly not against it.

factually incorrect... actually most of your comment, as it relates to filing disputes, is pure unsubstantiated BS. If you've followed the news within the last two weeks alone you wouldn't have made this stupid comment.

Why didn't they do this before increasing VAT?

Now we must pay our bloated light bills, over priced Fuel surcharge (where we are covering the legacy bill inherited from years of sh*t governance) and now we must pay property taxes ontop of that... with 12% vat stacked on all of it.

We're literally paying tax on flipping taxes. I get that we need to generate more revenue, but it's come to the point where we are paying for the mismanagement, embezzlement, bribery, sh*t decision making of successive administrations.

Both parties are failures, more so on the PLP.
They both lack clear policy positions or the conviction to see the few policies they put through... even beyond their terms in office. They only govern with 5 years in mind, no long term strategic planning.

After Goodman got off of death row it's clear there is no turning back. If what that piece of human filth did to that little boy isn't the worst of the worst, I'm not sure what is.
