The average three bedroom house in North America uses about 30kwh of electricity per day. Charging an electric car takes 50kwh. Do the math. We have introduced a massive additional load on to an already struggling "grid". Substantial taxes need to be levied on the import of these rolling disasters to pay for the required infrastructure to support them.
Why is the government still meddling in private enterprise? Their job is to govern, not to provide water, electricity, telecoms. Look at how much better Internet access and cell phones got when the government monopoly was replaced by a competent private company. Instead we are going backwards, with GBPC getting nationalized.
Or how about Crystal Palace and Nassau Beach hotels under government management vs private hands. Which would you prefer?
I'm a huge proponent of EVs and hybrids, but the people buying these wish.com cars certainly aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Unfortunately for them they'll still be on the hook for the loan while their knockoff Land Rover is a lawn ornament.

Who, what, when, where, why? These are the things you need to find out and report on. It isn't really that difficult. There is likely a logo on the side of the vehicle, or you ask the guys repairing it who they work for. It isn't exactly rocket surgery.
Really Tribune? Look up on your wall, what is your motto? Please, take a moment to read it, and let the words sink in. You are here giving a platform to an obviously incorrect statement in order for the subject to sell some ambulances, presumably for a tidy profit. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
