While the rest of the world is retiring their internal combustion engines, and going all in on renewables, we are installing more? Somehow while doing this we are also touring the world begging for help with global warming? I'm a bit confused.

Money for you and your boss to travel around the world first class, eating in the finest restaurants, staying in the finest hotels, but you can't even buy a fire truck for your own constituency? Who keeps voting these people in?
Here is a link to buy a fire truck for Exuma for under $15k. That is probably less than three nights in one of those swanky hotels you love to stay in when you travel.
Can't afford business as usual, yet you, as the govt of this country, burn diesel fuel 24x7 running generators. If a country like Germany, with very little sun can be primarily powered by solar, what the hell are we doing burning diesel?
