History has proven again and again that when the govt gets in the business of telling competently run private enterprise how to operate, what comes next is famine, riots, and regime change. Do they not read their history books?
Stop spending the VAT money on "free" vacations, fancy cars for the govt employees, and all the other ridiculously extravagant spending that is happening. Nero, fiddles, something something.
By that argument we shouldn't have any of the high end Asian, French, or Italian restaurants we currently have in the country, instead we should only feed our guests Bamboo Shack. I'm sure that won't affect our tourism numbers in the least.
He didn't have a single ill word to say when Albany came in and increased his property value by tenfold, surely causing far more damage to the lens than this place will. Maybe he is motivated by something other than the environment.
