Mr.Hartnell, you need to ask questions about Tyler Technologies. The company was abruptly terminated by the duo of Johnson and Turnquest. Then they realize they need the company to complete the modernization of the real property unit.Let Mr.Johnson tell you what the cost to complete the project was.The cost pales to their cost now. This is the same thing that happen to the REU unit, they meet in place. This is why this country is the way it is,because of dumb, stupid decisions made by people in authority.

A good article. When I went to school,Bahamian history was not really taught.I also wondered what life was like in this country before independence.

Not surprised at all at this. This is Dr.Minnis mo.He makes decisions without really consulting and does not think things through.A note of history. Many years ago ,i was told the PLP wanted the late Dudley Hanna to be the commissioner of police. The late Sir Lynden Pindling wrote to the Norman Solomon who was leader of the opposition.Mr.Solomon refused to support that appointment. He was never appointed and was very upset about that.

Some one I met late last year said they have to reform the revenue enchancement unit. That person was sent home from that unit.By disbanding that unit in October 2017,they may have not collected over 100 million dollars in revenue. The person said these guys are dumb and don't listen to advice.

I hope we have a proper public relations campaign for this.We should have done this a long time. Our environment is very important for us.I hope we also implement a proper recycling program for plastic bottles, aluminum cans ,glass bottles and cardboard.

The point of correction I made was to a comment made by the poster Weezie.

This idea was proposed by FS Wilson.A man removed by this FNM government.Like the person said to me,this is how the Bahamas works. You publicly disparaged people but secretly realize their ideas work. Then you pass their ideas to your supporters in the private sector and the public as your original ideas.A country of pirates

The situation is just plain ridiculous.

Ask the good minister or the PM where this idea originated from? I know they won't say.I have an idea why it being pushed now.Somebody today told me how this idea came about. It just shows how this country really works. The media in the Bahamas needs to do real investigative work and not simply print politicians' statements.
