The Bahamas is a third world lecturer.I was taught by a lecturer at the College of the Bahamas. The lecturer is a now a consultant to the FNM government.
Urban design and planning as a science in the Bahamas is unknown and not practiced except in the GBPA area of Grand Bahama.Carmichael road needs to be widen and the area also needs a mater plan for its future development.
The cabinet made a purely political decision to pay the line staff more than the directors of the SPV wanted. Now the managers want theirs. They are being told there is no money.Right about that, this is the taxpayers'money.
I am not a fan of Baltron Bethell but he was a consultant on contract. That is totally different from being a civil servant. You mixing up apples with oranges to score a cheap political point. Both parties hire consultants and take care of their people in the civil service.
Jamaica just about a week ago put a ban on conch exports and fishing for it for one year.I hope we can enact policies to conserve and prevent the poaching of this resource.
Several questions were asked of the acting financial secretary last year June on facebook. He spends a lot of time there. Those questions were asked on behalf of a former senior FNM cabinet minister. What methodology was used to prepare the budget, what economic forecast models were used in preparing the budget and did an economic model done to see how the tax increses will affect the inflation rate?He said he will release the information and did not.The model looking at how the inflation rate will be affected by the tax increase should be done by the cCentral Bank.He nor Peter Turnquest know what is happening and more importantly how to solve it?

I don't support the PLP's walk out of the house of assembly. But I have an idea of why the FNM won't debate the mid-term budget.
