He has to be released from prison immediately. You can not detain a person indefinitely in prison without them not being brought before a judge. in a democratic society.
Phillip Davis is a joke. He attempts to say he is unaware of this. Renew, Bamsi and how this situation. He should not be in Parliament. I can not see for the life of me why he was elected the leader of the PLP. The PLP seems to be incapable of reform
I found what i am hearing and reading about this situation incredible. A HOA agreement signing that was carried on live tv that was not was a HOA signing. A clause that in the HOA that says this project can't be stop even if there is an adverse EIA. A constant rearranging of the companies principal officers resumes. Nobody seems to know or say who the owners of this company is.This is how the PLP does business. Not a peep from various environmental groups. Amazing.
The political elite and connected persons have exploited this country for years. They don't want to pay their share of anything even though they have the ability to do so.It will be the small man at the that bottom that will have to carry the load as always. BPL needs to vigorously pursue and collect all monies from these persons with no exceptions.
i say to myself always Bahamians don't live in the Bahamas. They live pile up like sardines in Nassau (New Providence) and Freeport. If they travel to some of the family islands they will be amaze at the hardships their fellow bahamians endure.
A registered nurse with a bachelor's degree can make a lot more money in the US. They also have better working conditions. The countries in the caribbean, where The Bahamas recruited to make up our short-fall in nurses, the american firms are recruiting there also. These problems have been existed for years but have been ignored by the people in power.Like some issues in this country, they have gotten worse. It will take a lot of imagination, vision and management skills to reduce this situation. Something most leaders in this country don't possess.
This project was rejected by the NEC under the Rt.Honorable Hubert Ingraham previously in 2009.There were concerns whether it was viable then. What has changed since? This country needs that FOIA badly.
Wow.The Bahamas the only country in the hemisphere that is not a member of the WTO.Even tiny St.Kitts is a member. Somebody told this, a Jamaican business executive told him, in his opinion,The Bahamas is closed backward economy.
