One can only hope that the person was dead or unconscious as a result of the impact, what a horrible way to go. RIP

Can't walk more than 10 feet down the sidewalk on Bay Street without being proposition in one fashion or another. Hence why I avoid it like the plague.

Got to give credit where credit is due...the father owned it. No trying to sugar coat it, just came straight out and said the writing was on the wall. That takes a lot of guts to just come out and say that. Sad this happened, sad this child fell through the cracks and could not be saved. But at least the Dad came out and called a spade a spade.

Countless unregulated rental and taxis, and also the pending horror stories when something goes wrong during said rental or taxi journey.

Essentially what it comes down to is that due to the nature of Bermuda's location in the middle of the Atlantic, the airline and aircraft needed to be certified for ETOPS type operations. Western Air doesn't have that, Bahamasair doesn't even have it. I guess Bahamasair was smart enough to flat out say no they can't and won't do it, but Western thought they could get away with it. They are lucky their entire certification hasn't been yanked.
