Essentially what it comes down to is that due to the nature of Bermuda's location in the middle of the Atlantic, the airline and aircraft needed to be certified for ETOPS type operations. Western Air doesn't have that, Bahamasair doesn't even have it. I guess Bahamasair was smart enough to flat out say no they can't and won't do it, but Western thought they could get away with it. They are lucky their entire certification hasn't been yanked.

Let's see if this is better handled than Oban...my guess is NOT...damage assessments will be swept under the rug.

So when your cost of doing business/break even point is 20-21% for the wholesalers...you think forcing them to sell at 15% is feasible? Good luck with that.

Let's stop selling all prescription drugs and see how quickly things change!!

Not a single 'consultation with stake holders', in either wholesale, retail or pharmacies...yet they tell you all that bald face lie that 'after consulting with stakeholders'.. BS...pure rubbish in a political ploy to try to make said stakeholders appear like the bad guys when they get up in arms and protest the move. Shameless. They have yet to give any of those groups ANY official paperwork on the issue, yet they wanted it to be ready for action this coming Monday? Do they not think these things through? I guess with the whole Back to School VAT holiday debacle, apparently not!!
