I say that if CCA miss another deadline that that becomes a 'force majure' of the contract, much like they are holding that clause for BEC/BPL...

Maybe no ACTIVE politicians...LOL. Agreed though...it will be a colossal waste of money that will be run down and deserted in a few short years.

Is this the project Shame Gibson is involved with? I wonder how much BoB money is involved...

Well that's the thing, the election declarations, are more of a formality, they don't really go into any great depth and accuracy is probably secondary...the annual ones for the disclosure are far more detailed and scrutinized and I believe can be audited if deemed necessary...still trying to figure it out myself, but that's what I've been picking up on in various articles and blogs...

I think it's two separate issues Tal...in order to run for the election, you need to make a financial declaration...that's different and far simpler than the level of financial details the annual disclosures require. That clarification came up a couple weeks ago I believe, maybe in another news article.

whack a mole...they knew this was coming, no excuses whatsoever, FNM, PLP, whoever it is...press the charges and FAST.

Rome wasn't built in a day Tal...they are still trying to come to grips with the true and dire financial situation the country is in before they can fulfill on some of those tax breaks. you can't go taking VAT off of things though, it's best to drop the duty, which will have the knock on effect of dropping the price in relation to VAT. VAT needs to stay a flat fee across the board or people start to find loopholes and cheat the tax.
