Just plain awful ... more and more channels are blacked out for presumably non-payment of royalties making it very hard to watch and follow any international sport, including various Soccer Leagues,Rugby, Formula 1, Americas Cup, etc., etc.
This sad story is precisely why one should “always” spear fish in pairs, not merely to ensure the catch by following up on wounded fish with a second spear shot, but to ward off shark attack and to immediately assist (as appears to be the case here) in the event your buddy experiences shallow water black out,
The lack of cheap skilled labour of which the Fish House Coalition complains is the same for every business in The Bahamas ... and is all about money at the end of the day ... if they can hire Dominicans to fish, why can’t Constriction Companies hire Chinese and Mexicans to build, Farmers Haitians and Cubans to farm, Filipinos and Indians to work in hotels, English, Europeans, Canadians and Americans as Lawyers, Bankers, Secretaries ... I am sure you get the point ... The Bahamas is either for Bahamians or Open to ALL ... both scenarios have Pros and Cons.
Cable Bahamas should be broken up by URCA for failing to ever meet its Mandate for initial Licencing requiring the provision of service to Communities throughout the “entire” Bahamas and and continuing to charge for pirated content resulting in Content Providers refusing to supply such content such as fifa, nfl, fox, discovery, etc.
After all this time ... the only thing “Bold” about this is the disappointment factor ... at least we have a List now of who not to employ or engage for services or get into business with ... as you will go broke quick and end up just like the Country. Very disappointing ... and ultimately sad.
