😂 ... about as sad as the state of this Country ... and the saddest part is they all speak with “self interest” in mind first and foremost!

Any “successful” Businessman knows Committees are created when one wants to avoid making tough decisions, as it allows one to buy time in the hope that time itself will cure the problem ... of course this fundamentally flawed “kick the can down the road” approach to governance has been the convenient order of the day post a Independence, but now the proverbial “chickens have come home to roost”, so if anyone is truly expecting solutions from these multitude of Committees they are sadly disillusional, indeed all one really has to do is look at who are on these Committees ... they are not the truly “successful”, much less “smartest” in this Country, rather they are the “bullish..ters” who are well known to those who are actually successful and smart, who know from interaction that they are merely looking to advance themselves ... the truly successful and smart among us are instead the “quiet” ones who are going about their personal affairs and seeking to exploit the “opportunities” that this Pandemic presents whilst majority panics and runs around like headless chickens ... as this is what successful and smart people do ... noting this is how they became successful in the first place!

Hate to say it, but we have all been “played” by a very savvy Politician, as he “knew” at 8pm Monday that there was a Storm traveling towards us, he “knew” the number of COVID Cases would be extraordinarily high the next day and he also “knew” that the death toll was about to increase ... so he implemented an “immediate” full lock down again “knowing” full well there would be outrage and resistance, yet again “knowing” full well that he could ease and reverse ... but in so doing he had shielded himself from the consequences that he already “knew” are going to follow, but now can always maintain “he tried to save us” ... alas “the people” did not want saving ... allowing him to resign or lose the next Election with a clear conscience ... allowing us to also suffer the consequences to whatever the alternative is to his Leadership ... if there is even an alternative ,,, like I said, “very” savvy Politician!

Reckon Minnis is relieved ... as he can now say he “tried to save the Bahamian people”, but alas the special interest groups, lobbyists, political adversaries, anarchists, inciters of the ignorant Won the Day ... so do not blame him for the Deaths that will now ensue ... indeed, he can now resign or lose the next Election with a clear conscience, knowing “he tried” ... and we can now suffer the consequences ... March on Bahamaland ... March On ...

What “peculiar” logic ... they say Covid affects everyone differently!?!

Unfortunately these are not NBA Scores between the Visiting “COVID-19’s” vs the Home Team “d averages” ... but if they were it is obvious the “D’s” took far too much comfort in their 114 - 104 (Days -Cases) over the visiting COVIDS ... as the COVIDS came back in stunning fashion to post perhaps the greatest revenge of all time by crushing the “D’s” in a re-match “knock out” score of 133-1 (Cases - Days) ... leaving the “D’s” devastated with no immediate answers for how to address this reversal in fortune!

Wow ... unfortunately this is what you get from the “D” Average ... tear down one of the few things left standing on GB that is symbolic of historically better times ... it is the same mentality that resulted in broke GBs to needlessly pile onto a Ferry to Florida in the middle of a pandemic to spend money they do not have and return along with their cherished Flea Market Specials infected with Covid ,,, and then apply the same “great thinking” to use the 48hr Notice of impending resultant Lock Down to flee GB like Rats on a Sinking Ship to infect the whole Archipelago!

Pity we could not watch as cable bahamas refused, or perhaps more apt, could not afford, to pay The “Discovery” Chanel for the legal viewing rights after not being able to “pirate” as per normal course, even though they advertised “Shark Week” to induce Subscribers. Obviously this should be investigated by URCA, but I expect they are on COVID Holiday ... let’s see, as even if they are, they too may have been duped by this latest and most blatant con job perpetrated by cable bahamas on the Bahamian Public. Biggest mistake of the Ingraham Era was allowing these modern day Pirates to take control of television media in this Country and pillage to their heart’s content!
