There was a “lot” of money and assistance available internationally that was not taken advantage of in a timely manner ... and has now “moved on” to others that are equally desperate, but far more accepting, accommodating and indeed, grateful ... another lesson learnt the hard way at very much the expense of the Country ... in particular Abaco, who would have done better if just allowed to organize their own disaster relief without interference from Central Government, which has been nothing short of disastrous ... and for which Abaco now suffers ... and will continue to suffer for many, many years to come ... and dare I say will never, never, NEVER be forgotten ...

On Dorian donations just $1.14m so far

Any one else notice the total confirmed case count?!? ... “2020” ... better make haste and drop my “last” dollar on that number with the Web Shop ... as what are the chances of that “falling” on the Covid-19 Dashboard, which is the preferred Site for placing bets on these depressing days.

I wonder if “Super Wash” had been and continuing to lose money for years if D’Aguilar would continue to invest what now is not even his own money anymore (as that’s long gone) but borrowed money (as that is all we have) with NO HOPE of “ever” recouping?!?

This is most embarrassing ... particularly for anyone who holds themselves out as a Businessman ... just run it like any other business without emotion ... which dictates you close it ... and the Pandemic is the perfect time to do just that NOW ... as if it could not make money in “good” times, it is certainly not going to do any better over the course of the next 5 years!

Not wanting to comment on motivations and ramifications ... but how was this even possible given confirmed infection ... presumably some special medial charter flight, but this should be shared, so those left behind can at least bear such an Option in mind ... however difficult and unrealistic?!?

In any event, I wish Brave a speedy and healthy recovery.

Just remember one thing fellow Bahamians, as much as many of you wish to associate with the Democrats ... they have done you “No Favors” ... indeed, we always prosper as a Country under a Republican Administration ... and this is not Opinion, it is a Fact ... indeed, we have never received so much assistance as we just did following the passage of Hurricane “Dorian” in Abaco through the the deployment of Coast Guard and Military assets (more than even Puerto Rico, which is actually a US Territory) ... and for which I am still to see a “proper” thank you (except from the very much grateful Survivors of Abaco) ... and this was under Trump ... “Make Abaco Great Again,” ... so be very careful of dissing the proverbial hand that feeds you ... literally!

Unfortunately, representation of Bastian has cost Sears any chance of being PM, which is a shame, as I “think” he would have been good ... alas the lure of money proved to tempting to resist ... and in turn, proved to be critical test of character in aspiring to such lofty Office, which regrettably he failed.

Bottom line is there is no convincing way to “spin this” ... he bailed on our Health Care System when his own life was at risk ... going to be hard for people to ever forget this ... Chester get ready to step up to the plate, as Brave just committed an unforced error resulting in an unexpected out.

The fact that Govt. has to buy the people on these Committees Lunch tells you all you need to know ... as if you can’t buy your own Lunch, how the hell can these “Experts” help us, when they can’t even feed themselves?!? Time to take a closer look at who is on these Committees and you will see they are for the most part either hanger ons or wannabees (all looking for that “free” Lunch) as they greet and pat each other on the back, whereas the “real” successful people are not even in the restaurant, much less peacocking, but rather hard at work actually achieving results!
