What continues to make me laugh is referring to Rigby as Youthful. Pindling was Youthful, unfortunately not Rigby, which makes those that are even older ouright Jurassic!
Alas, even the glimmer of hope fades away. Very disappointing. Only one thing left to do, Resign … oh, sorry, that word does not exist in "we" Bahamas Dictionary, most likely on account of our D- average, far too hard to understand! March on Bahamaland, march on … , oh, sorry again, where did everyone go?!?
Wow, so much for encouraging Young Blood with fresh ideas as to how to solve our problems and develop our Country ... and Rigby is hardly young at what must be either 50 or close to it! Wonder what Pindling thought at half that age!!!
For a mere few "hundred" dollars The Tribune could commission their own searches of the Registry of Records and within a week have the information that the Public so desperately seeks, the Newspaper sales from which would easily outweigh the initial cost.
This is truly remarkable, Little Staniel Cay punches far beyond its weight in terms of tourism dollars and is indeed more popular with the "super" wealthy than George Town, the Capital of Exuma for those unfortunate Bahamians that have never visited a Family Island, and should therefore be a National Priority, indeed should already be finished by now, as the 5 months that have already elapsed since closure are more than sufficient to have completed, particularly when you bear in mind that the Ministry was aware of the issue for years, so should have commenced work the day of closure. Indeed looks like a case of either incompetence and/or victimization!
In sequence: Yes, very much so, yes, not at all, debatable, debatable, national priority and despite rhetoric no evidence of pocketing, unfortunate consequence of failed project for which developer is ultimately responsible, consequence of ill informed negative commentary, personal view of persons most of whom have made personal sacrifice to serve and percevere in the face of ridicule from side line observers ... notwithstanding our shortcomings we must remain patriotic and focused on nation building.
