Even if we implement a Freedom of Information Act, they will just ignore it like they do the Public Disclosure Act. What we need is an independent, proactive Attorney General that answers to the Bahamian people. First point of order is to trace all stollen funds. Bran said we have career politicians in the Bahamas, but I believe it is worse than that. Here, we have criminal politicians that operate on a grand scale of thievery.
No. They do consider us. They see us as the competition. Better they get the bribes before anyone else does. So, yes, we are considered. They consider us opponents, enemies!
I'm very dissapointed in Mr. Dorsett. I thought he was a man of sense, but the PLP Kool-aid must be very strong for him to tell us we are over reacting. How patronizing. What a shame. He has joined the idiot train of speaking down to the electorate.
The PM's school boy reasoning is the worst ever. Imagine telling a judge, I should not be convicted for murder because another person did it too. This makes no sense whatsoever. We voted for you to be different, to be better. Further, our issue is the fisheries, not so much the land. How insulting for him to say the opposition is to blame for stirring up descent. Have you not eyes? Can you not see that Chinese depleting our fishing reserves is a bad for the Bahamas period and has nothing to do with the opposition. One of the little tricks God played on me was having to suffer this complete fool as a leader.
What will happen is after the election the losing party will challenge this and the election results will be thrown out. Absolute chaos and anarchy could ensue.
It seems evident from the PM's response that he is not at all surprised by Minister Gray's China proposal. He does not in any way discredit it or suggest that it is ridiculous. It seems very likely from his lack of consternation that he played a role in framing and advocating the China proposal and Minister Gray is just a figurehead.

It really does seem like this majority rule experiment has been a complete failure. I have very little hope the Bahamas can pull things around.
