What the heck are you talking about? Never heard such a crazy excuse before. It's called FRAUD and Corruption!

Instead of reading "millions of dollars have been wasted" I read: millions of dollars have been "washed"

BahamaPundit says...

FRAUD always involves distraction. Both parties engage in non stop fraud during their administrations.

BahamaPundit says...

Wake up. It's called FRAUD. It was never intended to be done properly.

They should also check how much money was spent on consultants for the failed public health insurance scheme. They knew there was no government funds to pay for it bust wasted (stole) millions researching and planning it. This was just another fraudulent scheme.

The more I look at these guys, the more I see a bunch of monekys with no idea what they're doing. Not in a racist sense of course, but in a Martin Luther King Jr, "judge them by the content of their character" sense -- their character has the content of monkeys! If you can't run a bank, how can you run a country? Could these guys even run a newspaper stand by the side of the road? I highly doubt it.

In hindsight, we should have played the black lives matter card and done nothing. Then, if they imposed sanctions with correspondent banks, leveraged China as a workaround. They (OECD) would have likely capitulated eventually, rather than let such an important geographic card as The Bahamas go dark (or Red).

BahamaPundit says...

The Government messed this up from day one. From day one the response to the OECD black list should have been CYC you racist colonialists. But we caved at once and were the first jurisdiction to change our laws. End result = Cayman, BVI, Bermuda and Delaware have taken the lion share of our OFC business and we have returned to a one horse town fishing village.

BahamaPundit says...

Yes. If it accomplishes this and everything: passports, driver's license, national insurance, BPL, immigration, title registry etc. is completed online, then, and only then, it will be worth the price. However, I have a feeling it will be business as usual and 29 million of tax payer funds is going to cronies.
