If this was a Chinese or Indian country, digitizing the Bahamian Government would probably cost around 1 million dollars. Computer hardware is dirt cheap. Once again, politicians spending like drunken sailors, when much cheaper solutions likely exist.
Yep. Not rocket science. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Low IQ politicians (more akin to thugs and schoolboys than statesmen) plus virtually zero checks and balances in the system equals guaranteed corruption.
The FNM budgeted over a million dollars I believe to pass the Freedom of Information Act, yet no FOIA has been passed or even prepared for. So, they are corrupt even in becoming transparent! What did we do as a country to deserve this leadership?
The reason this country looks like a dump and is 9 billion in debt is Government contracts are used to launder funds; they are shams used to hide the theft.
Stop this nonsense. It's time to rid this country of styrofoam containers for grits and sausage and plastic bags for corned beef that take thousands of years to discintegrate. How dare anyone blame the poor as being uncaring about the enviroent!
Time for the Bahamas to give up its independence and return to Britain. It is clear that the native majority were far out of their depth and reach from day one to present day. People with an IQ of a two year old and the discipline of a crack addict simply cannot get the job done period! Time to admit the low intelligence of our government culture simply cannot run a country. When will we finally admit that independence was a complete and utter failure/scam. As with an AA meeting. Admitting you are an alcoholic is the first step to recovery.
The World is now aware of the thin ice this country scates upon. There is no real plan for emergencies caused by crime, immigration or natural disasters from global warming. There are no real savings to fall back upon, should tourism fall. There isn't a single Bahamian owned helicopter to evacuate our people. This country is unsafe! Is it any wonder that tourists are now hesitant to travel here?
Is it just me or has this FNM government failed at every stinking thing they've tried to achieve? I have never seen so much failure and lack of good news in a Bahamian administration before. The FNM needs to get on its knees and start praying.

Hi Bimini,
I am a Bahamian, if you want to share your idea, we can work together to still make it happen. Let me know.
