These charlatans are pretending that they raised VAT to get our fiscal house in order. They act like they are fiscally responsible. Ha ha ha. In actuality, they raised VAT because they are junk bond status and no one in the international community with half a brain will lend them a red cent. At least be honest you $#@&#_&# morons!!!
What we have in the Bahamas is a pretend government. In actuality, all we have is a bunch of middle aged Africans that have used the platform of "government" to steal for the last 40 years. For the majority of this time, the stealing went unoticed, because these Africans could borrow and cover their tracks. Now, 40 years later, 7 billion has been stollen, and they are chasing after us to pay the bill. I have never been so scared of these African men before. They are desperate, because there's nothing left to steal from the international community. Now they are coming after us. They must be stopped, before we are all as poor as Haitian and African nations. The Queen must return to these shores, and the Bahamas must once more become a British colony.
we refuse to pay another dime until the politicians who stole 80 million dollars from bank of the bahamas are put in jail!!!! isn't it strange that muddled minnis has audited every government company except bank of the bahamas???
bank of the bahamas... we want answers... no new taxes without freedom of information act... reduce pm pension from 250k to 100k... get rid of bisx and urca... national lottery... close bamsi and urban renewal... give the defense force boats back!!!
You want a riot. This is how you get a riot!!! You want to get run out the country. This is how you get run out the country!!! You want more crime. This is how you get more crime!!!
This is garbage. Everyone has legalized marijuana. Jamaica and now Florida and NYC. People have legitimate medical needs for marijuana and tourists want it, yet these idiots think they're heroes for making it impossible for people to buy. Idiots!!!! Why not go after the real criminals: rapists, murderers etc. The Bahamas Government is once again on the wrong side of history. Web shops are 100 times worse for the Bahamas than marijuana, yet they have no problem with them, even though we voted to ban them. They held a town meeting and everyone said to legalize marijuana.
The Government did break the law in signing the Oban HOA, but this is a good thing. The HOA states that the parties can move ahead with their project, regardless of the results of an environmental impact assessment. Thus, this clause is in breach of the law (Subdivision Act requires an EIA and public consultation in relation thereto) and should then be automatically removed from the HOA. The HOA most likely contains a clause that any term in the agreement in breach of the law should be extracted without voiding the entire contract. This means that the onerous clause is null and void and the Government can void the HOA, should an onerous EIA confirm a negative impact on the environment.
I may be harsh on Doc, but it's because I believe in him and the FNM's potential to bring this country back from the brink. Davis is another matter. I would rather move to the moon than see the PLP reclaim the government. I mean, after the BAMSI arson fiasco and lack of insurance, how can Davis even open his mouth? He lost this country millions by failing to ensure the contractor and project was properly insured. You'd think he'd still be sitting small. Every word Davis speaks in opposition makes me think this guy has an unbelievable nerve!!! Even Jesus would be "drop jaw" speechless at his hypocrisy! He has the Pharisees beat by a mile!!!
