So question, does that seat now go back up for a reelection of candidate? It would only be fair to now allow constituents to vote again. I am sure there are many who voted for a party candidate, and now that he is independent may be wanting to change their vote.

so i am seriously going to need him to go to cat island (his constituency for which he has done nothing) and jump of mount alvernia. his plp government under the leadership of christie and which he was dpm, had the opportunity to put in place measures to deal with the very things he is now complaining about.

maybe instead of raping and pillaging the government funds they should have insisted upon a mandatory evacuation plan. maybe in instead of bribing and taking kickbacks they could have put a hurricane relief fund in place. maybe instead of flossing around they could have taken seriously the threat of global warning and updated the building code.

and just maybe we would have been better prepared for a storm like dorian...just maybe.

We know at least half of those that left will not be returning. Better opportunities and cheaper cost of living will make it so.

I fail to see how the government is responsible for building homes for residents of a shantytown. Please direct me to which country builds homes for non-citizens- because I will need to move myself to that country ASAP.
Furthermore, how can you expect a government to do for foreigners (legal status or not) what they won't do for citizens (legal) of the country,

Not true, if you look at old maps of The Bahamas, Pinewood was actually a part of a ridge that extends all the way to Prospect Ridge. In fact some parts of Pinewood are still elevated and on the ridge.

It was unscrupulous land developers that saw an opportunity to mine for fill that caused Pinewood areas to be so low lying. Some say it was Arawak Homes that did it, some say government, but who knows.

What about the ones who are tortured when held at gunpoint, not sure if you will live or die?
What about the mental torture of reliving that experience?
