All fun and games until they requesting your HIV status. No one has the right to access anyone's medical records without their expressed permission. I don't even see why this is an issue...only in The Bananas 🇧🇸
That is the problem with our country today, no one takes anything seriously. Once you sign up for a job such as the police or defence force, you represent the best interest of this country. To involve yourself in acts that bring shame to the institution that you represent is plain wrong.
It has nothing to do with being homophobic and everything to do with the appearance of impropriety. What you do behind closed doors is your business, but when you allow someone to record you and share that business with the world then it is no longer private.
In the USA if they had been a part of any military they would have been discharged for bringing dishonor to the institution. Only here in The Bahamas we think it's okay to disrespect the military/police and no one sees an issue with it. It's shameful...
Someone tell Ms. Sadie Cox that the bodies were embalmed and therefore not frozen and stink. Also please tell her even if they weren't embalmed (which they were) frozen cannot be stink. #ijs
Furthermore, the government did the right thing in burying those people. Many criticized the government for how they handled the situation, but truth is many of those bodies were not claimed. And unless the DNA evidence was conclusive you cannot just release a body to someone because they claim it belongs to their family.
On a serious note though, now is not the time to play politics. Bahamians are in dire need, now is the time to come up with sensible ideas on how to rebuild the economy.
They stopped a shipment of ventilators from going to Barbados. This is nothing new, they are being very disgusting. As though only they need access to ppe and medical supplies. Smh
We've been on lockdown 2 weeks, which means those persons were in arrears before the economy came to a standstill. If your bills is over 4 weeks past due, you cannot possibly think to blame it on Covid-19 lockdown.
Bahamians like slackness and something for nothing. Now for those who had bills paid up until the lockdown went into effect, I would hope BPL would extend some courtesy and not disconnect.
I don't see Solomon's with this problem, there is one way in and one way out of the store. There is no way to roll a full cart of groceries out of Solomon's unless the security and cashier are both in on it. Seems to me Mr. Roberts needs to maybe readjust his stores layout, and stop attempting to bully hard working honest Bahamians.

You can take the trolley out, you just have to pass the cashier and security first.
See Solomon's on the East-West highway set-up. Can't get groceries out there without paying, unless the cashier and security are assisting.
