Why was he on forced vacation in the first place? Who has to be forced to take vacation? Is life that boring that work is the only thing you can focus, to the point where you don't want to go on vacation. SMH

Just ridiculous, the Valley Boys are acting like a bunch of spoilt brats. I always felt like as long as they are winning they are good, they can talk a lot of smack and be as biggety as they want. As soon as they lose, it's a whole different kettle of fish. They want to act as though some grave injustice was done to them, and carry on like a bunch of brats.

Let them boycott, I hope they are also boycotting receiving any seed money from the JNCP as well. I also hope that means we won't see them on Baystreet come Boxing Day 2020. Guess that means they need to find a venue to host their own parade. SMH

It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

The one main thing they will be remembered for now, is the fact they had to be dragged kicking and screaming to make way for a new regime.

Flicking embarrassing...

What's the principle? The fact that senior people don't know when it's time to move off the scene gracefully. No, instead they have to be publicly embarrassed and make a whole scene.

I personally feel that if you've served in a senior capacity for a lengthy time, after sufficient time move along and allow someone else to be promoted. If you are retirement age, take your pension and go; if close to retirement, step back and be a mentor to the new regime.

I don't understand why people feel the need to stay in these top positions until they die. I for one don't intend to die still struggling to hold a job well after my retirement age and the obvious urgings to step back.

They need to stop embarrassing themselves...as I said it's all cause they don't want to lose power and position.

All this shows is that these guys are all about pomp and pageantry. Because even though you may have been transferred to another area, your salary remains the same. Who cares if it is perceived as a demotion, you are essentially getting paid the same to do less work.

I for one would be quite alright with that, especially if I was close to retirement age. But as I said, these dudes are all looking for power and position so that's why they are so upset about the changes.

Ms. Gottlieb should be made aware that this ban was talked about prior to being put in effect. Sports Centre should have long before stop purchasing bags in an effort to have less once the ban went into effect. Now they will be stuck with an abundance of bags... I don't feel sorry for them.

So why is there still 45% duty on reusable straws and grocery sacks. Smh...

Why not go back to paper bags like they used to give out back in the day? I wrapped many a school book with Super Value brown paper bags.

People are also tired of paying triple and quadruple the price for no brand name items. With online retailers like Amazon and Ebay a person can shop from home with bigger variety and better options. Then order your item and ship through a freight forwarder and still not come close to the exorbitant amount of money they want for these things.

And that's #fact. Stop trying to make a 200% profit and be more reasonable in your pricing, maybe then people will purchase and locally.

And once again the goverment levies fees with no thought for the little man.

How does Bannister think it's fair that everyone pay the same amount? A person making weekly minimum wage with a $100 a month light bill can ill afford $30 extra a month. However the person making $900 weekly with a $400 a month light bill probably would adapt to a $30 increase easier.

Common sense would be to tax the bill at a percentage, so that those with lower bills would not be paying the same as someone with a higher bill. I don't see how Bannister those can't think like this... they just charging fees all willy nilly.
Gosh I really dislike this government...
