Ikaliki: Imagine this scene in court, gay divorce hearing, a man's lawyers tells the judge my client deserves to be maintained to the standard of living he is accustomed to. Reply, But your honor he's a man and can work...Nope he deserves spousal support u 2 are married and by the way he gets the kids and you have to pay child support. He also gets half your pension, investments and to keep the house. Before this ruling 2 gay dudes could be living together, something happens and each go their separate ways and take what they brought to the relationship. Be careful what u ask for... As a straight man I wish for a law that discriminated against me getting married, I could envision how much money I would have today. U don't need to be married to name someone in your will or trust to receive your assets and that way also u can change it as u please if this person does no longer act in your best interest. In America, now that the government is involved you're screwed. I support gay marriage because gays have been happy for to long while the rest of us have been doing hard time. Every gay person I know, always on vacation, always going to wonderful events, always cheery, well enough already come join us straight people in the torture chamber especially us men.
Once the great America has spoken he couldn't help himself but to be the first to speak. They say those whose strongly appose it... Eddie Long, Tedd Haggart, etc. Are the ones who deep down are gay or transgender. Who would of ever thought an Olympic champion like Bruce Jenner would evolve into a butterfly. I say welcome on board the marriage train, let them suffer like the rest of us. My fellow straight people act like marriage is delicious apple pie and we must keep it away from the gays. Well I have sampled the marriage pie and it aint apples in there. I wish straight marriage was illegal so I could enjoy a peaceful existence protected by the law.
Gay people are going to wake up one day and realize they just stepped in shit. They had the good life but now welcome to the hell called marriage. Marriage is not just a religious institutions, its also a business. You are essentially incorporating yourself with this person. And when this business fails, which happens over 50% of the time, you more than likely will lose up to 75% of your assets, custody of your kids, and face the possibility of paying spousal support for many years. Before gays could tell the lesser earner or less motivated partner, I would love to marry u but it's against the law, now u r screwed. I have always said it in my comments, let them suffer like the rest of us. Congratulations gays welcome to the torture chamber...
Start a national lottery, legalize gambling, web shops would be out of business. Our own self discriminating laws has made people like flowers rich. Try getting a legitimate business started from scratch in the Bahamas, its near impossible today. The bureaucracy and red tape one has to go through is ridiculous if u r legitimate. The system is set up where as if u r not politically connected or a loaded foreigner aint nothing happening. What's even more interesting is that many people who are rich today in our society made dirty money which they ended up using to fund legitimate businesses.
Flowers owns them all. The web shop bribes are just to sweet. With All that cash he can just grease as many palms as possible. The web shops are dirty but so are the banks, charging outrageous rates for consumer loans, products and services. The government is the third culprit in this scheme taxing its own people to death with vat, charging outrageous rates for electricity, and creating an environment where government dependency for jobs is the norm. No angels here...Morals left the building a long time ago with ping and the drug trade.
Government ran power, phone, utilities etc is not efficient and the quality of service stinks. No competition equals poor quality, higher prices. If our government had planned it right with education and development we could have thousands of global service tech jobs in the Bahamas. We could have also took a strong position with solar energy. These government ran institutions is nothing but bloated job for vote operations charging excessive prices that put a financial stranglehold on families.
As much as i despise gambling and web shops. I must say, just like prohibition created the mob, our own self discriminating laws have created these webb shop. It pains me to say it because I know the corruption associated with this business and its illegal and destructive forces. The quickest way to put them out of business or not deal with these organizations is to create a national lottery and remove all gambling restrictions for Bahamians. Unfortunately that's not going to happen because they own our politicians and we allow the christian council to dictate on matters of business. I am also torn because all of these foreign and local banks offer shitty interest rates to Bahamians and horrible loan terms so they are no better than the web shops. This country screws its own people by not setting up rules with our neighbor the U.S that allows us to compete for better financial deals on the open global market without the penalty of higher taxes and fees. Between the Government, Banks and Web shops, there are no angels.
The rules when smoking weed is puff puff pass. This guy not only did he not share he made brownies with the entire stash and consumed them all, this is perhaps what has contributed to his delusional state at this time. Cannot think off another logical reason why he would think he had even a slim chance of becoming PM. after what has taken place in this country under their leadership.
This guy Mortimer has the look of a used car salesman. Sure trust me that odometer is correct and engine runs perfectly. Bran comes off as arrogant. So a used car salesman and a arrogant short man. Time to move on DNA as a viable option is dead. It doesn't help that they have presented us with no new ideas or plans. Same old Same old with these two. Someone once suggest that short arrogant guys like Branville are so pissed off because they're angry at the fact that there heads are at the level of everyone's ass and they have to smell farts and ass all day.
Hanging out in bars, clubs, late parties especially over the hill raises a person risk of death substantially. The Nassau where disagreements were settled with the maximum being a fist fight is gone, some people still don't get it.
