Punnish the kids u damned, don't punnish the kids u damned. Ultimately life punnishes bad behavior, the school would get an apology from me if my kid was a part of this.. However the school has to return whatever refundable portion of the graduation money is left because when u book and cancel venues they sometimes hold some of deposit for late cancellations.. We have become a litigious society Welcome to the united states of the Bahamas

He missed the most important factor in these Homes: Responsible Men... For many young ladies Pop culture decides what a good man is suppose to be.. They want a Ruff Neck, A Thug... The nice young man working hard in school and planning to be some body in life does not have the swagger they have been indoctrinated to believe is kool, the thug has it with his attitude and flashy drug money..Unfortunately in the long term thugs are not good for anything and end up in jail leaving all these single mothers to raise these Boys... Now that nice young man is successful in life and would not touch some worn out damage single mother with 5 kids with a 10 feet pole. So the cycle continues, and you are left with many Households without responsible MEN around to guide and discipline these Children... Pop culture and Radical Feminism has destroyed the image of the Man God Intended to Lead....So these women end up back with Thugs Breeding More Criminals...

The difference between the FMN and PLP is the same as the difference between Coke and Pepsi.. The situation is at a point where both parties need to say lets suspend politics and come together and solve this Crime problem for the greater good of the Country.. This is about our future and the future of generations to come... Unfortunately the ego's and selfish nature of politics and politicians, along with these individuals thirst for power and fame makes it almost impossible too reach common ground.. The reality is most politicians get elected to serve themselves, families, and cronies, the needs of the country comes last..

The Officer who shot in public for being knocked of his bike is an idiot and should be fired immediately... To fire at an unarmed suspect in public he would have to present imminent life threatening danger to the Officer and public, apparently that's not the case with RBPF.. More guns is not the solution, but considering all the things u mentioned, the situation is jacked up and what are citizens suppose to do, hang around and wait to die. U R right about the illegal guns and the reality is RBPF and Defense force are not going to be able to stop this because of the various methods of entry smugglers can use to enter country and there political connections. Politicians are just as bad as the Criminals, and do u ever wonder what happens to all those guns police collect as evidence, they disappear out the evidence room and end up back on the streets.. If u read the article the Officer produced a weapons, a shoot out ensued, he was struck twice and one of the suspects was struck.. In my opinion, Without that gun, if he just looked at one of them the wrong way, he would have died.. The gun scared them and now they were in retreat and panic, if u ever go to a firing range people do not shoot well under pressure or at a moving targets. By producing that gun he made himself a difficult target and an immediate threat to the criminal.. Criminals like defenseless victims, I just don't want u or my family to be defenseless victims until we can come up with a better long term solution to this terrible situation.. I fear our leaders do not have the political will and the public has been beaten down and live in fear. When the criminals are now attempting to rob cops what do u do

HJ: That's some serious madness...What were they thinking or not thinking? I could only imagine what went through the mind of Tourist when they read those Billboards. They came to the Bahamas as a vacation destination to escape negativity and relax, After reading things like that they probably felt like they just entered Compton California...

Many bahamians have Not shared in the prosperity that foreigners & the ruling class has.. Now u have a group of young men mostly from single parent homes with the mentality that I will take what's mine... they feel u don't care about us so f you I'm gonna get mine with this gun..its a matter of dignity expressed through crime..

John: I like the way you and Sp address the situation.. I was one of those young men who grew up in proverty in Nassau and one of the reason I stay away, too many bad memories.. Poverty stinks, enviroment & teaching does matter..it errodes self esteem & strange thoughts go through your mind to obtain resources.. Fortunate for me I grew to 6'8 & became good @ sports & was later placed with a U.S family...What a night & day experience to go from no, electricity, running water, or inside plumbing to my own room with attached bath in beautiful home & neigborhood with all the resources available. The values that were thought were different also the opportunity for success was there..thoughts of crime no longer existed. Offcourse u could give the same opportunity to others and they would screw it up but in general enviroment & opportunity makes a difference.. it was through good community involvement with coaches & programs that made a difference. When ur poor u don't think like people with resources, all u see is survival, they have u don't.. if u worried about food & resources who cares about morals, u have I don't & I'm tired of sufferring is the mentality so I'm going to take your shit & have some dignity...the problem is with changes in the enconomy & the increase in single parent households the struggles have increase along with the amount of have nots..
