According to other reports, it doesn't sound like RWB is benefiting from their business either.

And someday, it would be nice for the Bahamian government & press to point out that there actually other businesses on the island that have, and continue to, contribute greatly to Bimini's economy.

It's hard to tell if PM Christie is severely dishonest, or amazingly ignorant about what is happening in Bimini? Both options are scary for someone who is supposed to be representing the Bahamas.

This just means that the scam artist Gerardo Capo won't own their hotel. The fact that he got them to pay $24 million dollars for some dredged dirt shows how bad their business decisions are.

This government will likely enact it right near the end of their term. That way they can take credit for it, without their corruption being restrained by it.

Resorts World Bimini will do everything they can to keep people on their property, and not in Alice Town, Bailey Town, or South Bimini. Their Environmental Consultant admitted off the record that the main reason for the position of that misplaced pier was to funnel people directly into their property, rather than the other areas of Bimini.

Bimini's reefs are just collateral damage to Genting.

Maybe someone at BAMSI can teach Mr Gray why supporting the creation of a golf course in place of Bimini's few remaining wetlands is a bad idea, because he seems unaware.

The common link (as far as i can tell) between the two shark diving fatalities in The Bahamas is the American operator who is conducting the dives. One US dive company has now lost TWO divers in the past few years, while DOZENS of Bahamian companies conduct similar dives on a daily basis?
