Gilead do not own Pharmachem. Pharmachem is an independent privately owned company. Pharmachem provides some manufacturing services for some of Gilead's products

Maybe I'm wrong, but how does a bishop (or his church) get his own personal aircraft? Another article today has the BCC complaining that COVID unemployment is hurting church funding. Maybe, they should consider not paying for personal aircraft, nice cars & large houses for their people. Glad they're safe though.

At the moment COVID Antibody tests are too unreliable. Test makers were allowed to market tests without having to have any of their data reviewed by regulatory agencies. Of course this was done with good intentions, but as usual a bunch of "entrepreneurs" started marketing fake kits that didn't even work. A lot of governments & healthcare practices started buying antibody test kits, only to find them totally useless. I think the UK government got shafted for $20 million by buying test kits that didn't work.

Agreed ! I really like this lady and her sensible, common sense approach to things. Unfortunately common sense does not seem to be so common among the elite politicians and the bulk of the public.
I can't see the majority of Bahamians having the nous to comply with correct mask wearing or staying 6 feet apart in the grocery store line, once they are past security. Also, even though hurricane season comes around every year, I would guess only a small percentage of the population keep emergency food stuffs and other essential items, sufficient to last 1 week, just in case a hurricane like Dorian comes through. It's just the nature of the population to be lackadaisical & lazy.

What other options are there? The labs that conduct the tests are so backlogged, there are only so many tests that can be completed in 24 hrs. Are the tests samples being sent out of the country or are the samples being analyzed in the country ? Even in the States it's currently taking 5-7 days to get test results back.

I'm sitting here wondering what the conversations would be on this Board if the government hadn't opened the borders last month. I'd probably bet my last Dollar, that we would all be complaining that Minnis and his cronies are useless dictators because they refuse to reopen the borders, even though there hasn't been a new COVID case recorded in 2 months. As they say, hindsight is 20/20.

I guess you have no idea of how the "science proving" works in the medical & pharmaceutical fields, do you ? Do you even know the difference between In Vitro and In Vivo testing ? I suggest you do some research and educate yourself, then come back here with a link or two showing the results of In vivo studies that prove Ivermectin works.
