Brave Davis and the PLP have become totally irrelevant. Who care about their constitution?

You PLP apologists and Negative Soothsayers need to take a Chill Pill. It is because of backward thinking and nonsensical rubbish, like what you are espousing here, that our educational system is at the bottom of the barrel. Four years ago, I visited an elementary school in Trinidad that showcased their little students using the computers that were provided in partnership with a Corporate giant.

What a nincompoop! The Bahamas is not a dictatorship, and it's not being run like under the PLP. It's a New Day! Minnis will not remove the CFO because anyone thinks this should be done. He will follow the results of the Audit and subsequent Police Investigation. Believe me, if the CFO is complicit in the stolen funds, her head will roll.

Oh ye of Little Faith; prophets of doom and gloom! I understand the PLP cronies not accepting the reality that their party is finished, but for anyone else, who wishes this country well, a little patience is needed. Doc Minnis is no slouch, and has never been - not in his professional life, nor as a politician. He has always risen to the task before him, whether as a former Cabinet Minister, or as leader of the opposition, despite the naysayers, and will do so again. I can see an avalanche of new Bills being presented in Parliament in the next session. Those of you looking for a plan of governance will be more than satisfied. Just wait and watch.

That is such asinine rubbish! A PLP Minister extorting money from another black PLP Supporter is Racism? You obviously don't know the difference between a Crook and a Racist. Go back to your dictionary!

CatIslandBoy says...

The Tribune's Editor is just as racist as many of the descendants of the former UBP regime. Anyone who believes that black Bahamians can be racist in the way they look at a white Bahamian is simply delusional and uncomfortable with their own guilty conscience.

There is no disrespect being accorded to Commissioner Greenslade. He has been Commissioner of Police for 10 years, which is a very long time to hold such position. The FNM has a fundamental belief, although not grounded in current laws, that this position should be tenured with a 10-year limit. It is time for fresh faces to ascend to the top of this organization on a regular basis, bringing fresh ideas for reform and innovative leadership. The Prime Minister, nor his Minister of National Security, need to respond to every gossip and innuendo that is in the public domain. When the decision is made to replace Mr. Greenslade, it will definitely be announced. Then will be the proper time to do so!

Obviously Obie has lost any authority to comment on matters of Tourism. He knows nothing about how to grow the tourist industry, and actually caused us to lose market share under his watch. I have been told that doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. While I don't want any Bahamian to lose their job, this American firm have proven their capability, while our workers in the foreign offices has not. In times of austerity we need the best bang for our buck.
