It never ceases to amaze me how these PLP fellas left so many plans in place. "If only the new Government had followed them". They really think that the voters are fools.
The term "junior doctors" does not refer to their level of expertise, but instead their time of serving at PMH. To compare them to Doctors serving in the United States maybe unfair, but K$45 as a salary is still low. On the other hand, while the pay of public servants in general need to be in improved, a conversation is definitely to be had regarding funding sources.
Mr. Goudie is wrong on this one. It is not a matter of educating oneself to get a better, but whether or not a minimum-wage employee can make ends meet with rising cost of living. The dollar buys less than it did in 2015. At least an increase in the minimum wage to adjust for inflation is warranted,
A well-written and compelling article that chides the Haters among us, but also encourages us all to aspire for the gold standard and cherish success, despite the color of our skins. Thank you Diane for this "Must Read" for my grand children who are children of color.
The facts are that this venue, regardless of ownership, was the best location for the Post Office. Even the PLP Government had considered this site. So, the Bahamian People benefits. What's the problem?
